I really like Bay Lake Tower. Its quiet, and private. Plus the lounge on the top floor is great to get a drink and watch the fireworks.

Awesome I keep hearing about the Bay Lake Tower Lounge. Since the California Grill will be closed when I go in April, I'll definately have to check it out!

I've always found the monorail resorts to be more kid friendly as they are so close to MK.

We love POR as, although there are lots of kids there (as with any WDW resort), the grounds are more "adult-friendly".

Lots of romantic garden walkways and landscaped areas, the Sassagoula river running thorugh where you can rent a boat and float off down the river together, a great inside bar (avoid Yehaa Bob nights as it's packed with families) and a lovely pool bar which is nice later in the day when the families start to leave.

And of course there's the horse and carriage rides around the resort in the evening and the boat to DTD where you can have a nice meal and a few drinks without having to worry about driving home!

I'm just guessing, but what about the Yacht Club or Swan and Dolphin?

I love AKL! It's a beautiful resort (I can't wait to stay there again).

After working at The Grand/ Poly, there really aren't a ton of kids at those monorail resorts. This is just what I felt compared to POR, Pop, and OKW.
Yacht and Beach would be others that normally would have a lower number of children.

Oh yes, I forgot about those! I would say they are more so than the monorail resorts.
