The Trick or Treating was GREAT! My girls got a TON of candy. I'm talking like a huge pillowcase worth of candy. Also, the Fireworks were INSANELY good! Loved the song and how they did things on the castle. We're doing Christmas this year, and will definitely do Halloween again next year, Lord willing.

We did it on our first night at WDW as an "introductory" visit. The park is not too crowded, that is one of the advantages. You can get in pretty early as well. We both wore costumes and it was my first Halloween, coming from Germany. I loved to fill up the trick or treat bag (don't judge me, 30 year olds also need candy ). The characters had extra Halloween costumes on. And the parade was just great!

I'm very excited to go to the party this year. I usually go to Disneyland in the fall, so this will be my first experience with the Halloween party. I've got my niece's costume ready, but I'm debating on whether or not I should dress up.

Received my six year olds costume in the mail today. He picked out Woody. So my eighteen yo is going to be Buzz. When I asked him if he was okay with that his only response was "do I get wings?" Lol of course!

I know I'm late adding this, but we attended MNSSHP in mid September and had a blast! It didn't seem over crowded, but there were a lot of people don't get me wrong. We loved the Boo To You Parade and Hallowishes (very cool!) and we attended two different dance parties - one with Woody, bullseye and Jesse and another with Sully and Mike from Monsters Inc. and both were a lot of fun for the kids. We also rode on everything we wanted to with hardly any wait (I think we just had to wait 5 minutes for the Haunted Mansion.) The only thing I would do differently is eat dinner before the party. We ate lunch late that day so no one was hungry right before the party. When we did get hungry around 9:30 you couldn't get any food - the lines everywhere were out the door and not all eating establishments were open. It was a nightmare so we skipped dinner and snacked on popcorn, since that line wasn't too busy compared to the others, and sampled candy all night. Hardly ideal but now we know better! Overall, I thought it was worth the cost. We've been fortunate enough to take our kids to Disney World every year, so they know the basic stuff at the parks. Now that they're in school and getting older I'm always looking for something to make our trip memorable. The Halloween party was a great choice for us - the kids still talk about it as the highlight of their trip!
