    Planet hollywood

Hi i was wondering if planet Hollywood is a decent restaurant to go to and if its best to make reservations if you can? I have a $5 gift certificate to use for here that I can use for food or beverage or even merchandise

In my opinion Planet Hollywood is very overrated. The food isn't good, at all. However, the atmosphere is nice bc you get to sneak a peek at the past of "rock n roll"

See to use the $5 gift voucher I have to spend at least $20 so I'm not sure whether to just use this voucher for the merchandise and bring a souvenir home or to dine in as apparently I get 'VIP' seating also with the voucher

Think you might be mixed up.

PH is movies, not rock and roll (that's the Hard Rock).

Either way, I agree, PH is very average food in a noisy and over-priced environment.

VIP seating is usually just a line jump.

If you have to spend $20 to save $5, I can save you $15 - eat elsewhere! WDW had much better restaurants than PH!

Hehe I figured VIP might be that. I guess I will abandon this freebie voucher I got with my package then

Yeah. I was thinking rock n roll bc they used to (don't know it it's still there) have an Elvis outfit in the case going up the stairs

    Re: Planet hollywood

Planet Hollywood should be avoided at all costs. Been once and it was awful. No atmosphere. Food dreadful and overpriced for what you get. Have to be honest and say that the hollywood memorabilia (hope that's how it's spelt!) wasn't overly impressive either. Save your hard earned dollars for somewhere far more worthwhile.

The food isn't very good. Think...bad American food.

The decor is ok, but it doesn't have a lot...probably the best part of the experience.

I've eaten there three times, never with a reservation. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. There are so many better restaurants at DTD. Not worth the money.

Just been on their website to look at what they have to buy and they do seem ridiculously expensive. Think only thing I would buy is a glass and a tumbler/thermos cup for my dad and that just to spend the $20 and get the $5 knocked off. Think I will bypass planet Hollywood after all

I have had planet Hollywood once before and I have no plans at all to go back. I did not enjoy the atmosphere or the food.

I've been to Planet Hollywood once. Cool to look at some of the movie stuff inside, but I don't even remember the food. Obviously it didn't leave any sort of impression on my memory, so I would skip it.

Wow we have reservations at planet Hollywood for our trip in October. We went last time we were there about three years ago and the food was good and the service was great. So my middle son wanted to go back this time. Hope we' re not too disappointed.
