    Mission: Disney Cruise Line

Cruising on DCL is a different way to get your Disney fix. And it can definitely be a more relaxing way too. The Disney Cruise Line currently has 4 ships in its fleet- the Disney Magic, the Disney Wonder, the Disney Dream, and the Disney Fantasy. Each of the 4 ships goes to different locations. Through 2013, the locations include: Alaska, the Bahamas (Nassau), the California Coast, Eastern Caribbean (St. Maarten and St. Thomas, and at times San Juan), Western Caribbean (Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, and Cozumel), Hawaii, Mexican Riviera, Panama Canal, and TransAtlantic cruises. Each location includes great ports of call, with something for the whole family.

Dining- Choices abound on the ships when it comes to dining! There are plenty of quick-service places to grab a bite, with options like pizza, hot dogs, chicken and fries, ice cream, and so on. Each ship also has 3 main restaurants that you rotate around for dinner. Depending on the length of the cruise, you may visit a restaurant more then once. You will find out your dinner rotation in the cruise terminal. Also, there are speciality restaurants. Each ship has Palo, and Remy is on the Dream and Fantasy. There is an additional charge to eat at Palo and Remy, and guests must be 18+

Staterooms- There are many sizes when it comes to staterooms. They range from the standard inside stateroom (which can sleep up to 4) to the concierge suites (which can sleep up to 7, depending on the ship). The rooms are quite cozy, and very nice. A new feature comes with the inside staterooms on the Dream and Fantasy. You will meet Disney friends on the Magical Portholes (I will say, it's a pretty cool feauture. I enjoyed keeping a lookout for the different characters).

Entertainment- I challenge you to leave a cruise bored, because there is so much going on. In fact, at times you will have to make a hard decision on what you want to do next. There are characters meeting all over the ships (sometimes unexpectedly too), fun activities for all ages (trivia, crafts, drink tastings for the adults, cooking, potato races, pool and deck parties, and so on), live shows (both with the Disney characters, and cabaret acts), and movie theaters. You will receive a Personal Navagator in your stateroom each night that lets you know all the activites for the next day

Great report! I almost makes me want to go on a Disney cruise, but unfortunately I get seasick on ships even when they're docked!

Great report, someday maybe I could talk the DH to go..... But I doubt it, may have to do a mother daughter cruise and leave DH at home.

Going on my 4th Disney cruise in September. First one was on my honeymoon 11 years ago and we'll boarding the ship on our 12th anniversary - this time with my 4 year old son on his first cruise. I don't know who is more excited!

    No problem!

My last cruise was an Eastern Caribbean, on the Fantasy. The ports of call were at St. Maarten and St Thomas
