This is my first report so I hope it will be ok. This attraction is located in Magic Kingdom in Adventureland. It's a new show with a classic twist of the older Tiki room. The show takes place in a tropical setting in which you are seated all around in a circle. A great time to get out of the weather and sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

The show has 4 great bird hosts: Pierre, Fritz, Jose, and Michael. All the lights go out, then as you look around you see all types of flowers (even bird of paradise) and Tiki statues start to come to life. Everywhere you look something is singing in a gorgeous musical performance.

The song that gets the audience going is "In the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room, welcome to our tropical hideaway, you lucky people you! If we weren't in the show starting right away, we'd be in the audience, too!" You're sure to be singing it the rest of the day. Lol

Forgot to mention there's a little pre show before going in where you see a nice waterfall and other birds are talking with you.

It a wonderful experience for the whole family from 1-99, give or take a few years. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.

The Tiki Room is one of my favorite shows. I am so glad they restored most of the original show (it is a few minutes shorter now). I like it much better than the Under New Management version!

    Nice report.

Thanks for the report! I am really glad they changed this attraction back to the classic. It is so much better than Under New Management.

I hope I don't start a riot, but I actually prefer the Under New Management version (I find the current version boring).

    Good report though!

I'm with you! I definitely could have taken a nap in there. One of the few rides where I actually don't prefer the original.

I soooo disagree! I love the retro feel of the current Tiki Room. I especially love the absence of Gilbert Gottfried's extremely annoying voice.

I agree with Alice. There's just a charm to a Disney attraction that doesn't depend on popular characters from films but rather strong storytelling and homegrown classic Disney technology.

I agree and disagree, I love the classic but I did enjoy the change of pace from "under new management" I think the classic is great but it can get a bit boring. I bought my family in the Tiki Room for the first time for them and they hated it and walked out early, I was a little embarrassed. Lol all I am saying is, love the classic but I do think it could use a little sprucing up. Like adding the big tiki goddess back in or something.

I've never done this before. My dad said its a restaurant/dinner show. But I said it's a show/ride. Could you tell me who is correct? I'm curious and I'd love to do it. Dad won't do it I it's just a dinner show though. Hoping to do this on my next trip. One of the only few things in WDW I haven't done.

There is no food involved. It's just a little round theater with a show that lasts about 10-15 minutes.
