You have to either have the Water Park and More option on your ticket you can use OR pay to get in. If you are staying on Disney property and have a package, you will receive two free vouchers.

What if you have three people in a room? Do you get passes for all on the reservation?

No. Two free passes per room. You would need to pay out of pocket for the third person.

Sorry now I'm confused..lol. If you have the water park and more option each person can get in with a park pass correct? If you don't have the water park and more then you get two vouchers? Am I understanding correctly?

You get two free vouchers with your check-in packet if you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. It doesn't matter if you have the WP&M option on your tickets or not.

However, if you DO get the WP&M option on your tickets, they work as a series of "admission credits", based on the number of days on your ticket. Each person would get 1 WP&M ticket per day.

So, if you have 5 day tickets, then that ticket would have 5 WP&M credits. These credits can be used for admission into the Water Parks, Disney Quest and Putt Putt Golf (Winter Simmerland and Fantasia). However, you cannot use the credits at the same place in the same day.

So, for example, lets say you want to play both courses of Winter Summerland's Putt Putt Golf. You can't use WP&M credits for both games...only the first one. You'll have to pay for the second one, or come back on a different day.

However, you could go to Blizzard Beach in the morning, then play Winter Summerland, then go to DisneyQuest all in the same day. That would cost 3 credits, leaving you with 2.

    I hope that helps?

Yes it does but just one last question, if you have a hopper pass then you can use as many as you want in one day, correct? For example if you have a 10 hopper pass with water park and option then you can go to a park, disney quest, and lets say a water park all in one day for 10days.

10 credits total for Water Parks, Disney Quest & Mini Golf. Not 10 credits each for Water Park, Disney Quest, & Mini Golf.

    Sortof.

WP&M is separate from Park Hopper. What Park Hopper allows you to do is visit as many of the main 4 theme parks during one day. You could do Magic Kingdom in the morning, then EPCOT at night, or even do all 4 parks in the same day. There is no limit to the number of times you can "Park Hop" during the day, as long as the Park Ticket is still valid (still within 14 days of first use, and if a multi-day, still has Park Days on it.

As an example. Lets say you plan a 10 day trip to DisneyWorld. However, you want to do Universal and Sea World as well for two of the days, and the other day you want to spend at Downtown Disney / DisneyQuest, but no parks. So, you buy a 7 day ticket.

You use that ticket to get into Magic Kingdom on your first day (gotta see the Castle, right?). That starts the counter on your 7 day ticket. You now have 14 days to use up all the remaining Park Days on that ticket before they expire (unless you buy the no expires option, but that's generally not worth it).

So, on Day 2 you do EPCOT. On Day 3 you do HS. On Day 4 you do AK. You now have 3 Park Days of admission left on your ticket. Now, at this point, you are still well within the 14 day expiration window, so you could decide that on Day 5, you do Sea World. On Day 6 you do Universal. You still have 3 Park Days of admission left on your ticket.

So, lets say on Day 7, you decide you want to go to Magic Kingdom in the morning, but end the night at EPCOT to see Illuminations (or whatever). You will NOT be able to do this without one of two things. A *separate* one day ticket, or upgrading with Park Hopper. Park Hopper will allow you to visit one or more of the main parks in the same day. If you have Park Hopper, it's not a credit. You STILL have 2 days left on your Park Ticket.

You could Park Hop every day, or only some days. It doesn't matter. All it does is means your ticket is valid all day at any of the theme parks in any order.

Think of it like upgrading it to a ticket to "DisneyWorld" instead of just a single park per day ticket.

WP&M, on the other hand, is a credit system based on the number of days on your ticket. So, if you bought a 7 day ticket and added WP&M, you would get 7 credits. These credits may be used in any order within 14 days of the first use of the ticket, with the only exception being that you can't visit the same venue twice in the same day (DisneyQuest and the Water Parks allow for re-entry, but the Putt Putt courses you can do both in one day, but not the same course in the same day.

Didn't mean to ramble on there, so let me focus and address your specific question.

If you have a 10 hopper pass with WP&M then, yes. You can go to a Park, DisneyQuest and a Water Park all in one day, however, remember you only have 10 WP&M credits, so you can't do that every day. If you did, in 5 days you would run out of WP&M credits.

    Does that help?

That helps a lot. Thanks so much for all your help! We have never been to disney quest before and only to the water park once. Good to know that we can't do both water parks in one day.

Yes. You can do both water parks in one day. But, each entry will cost you one WP&M credit.

The two Putt Putt courses are wonky, because they are subdivided into two smaller 18 hole courses. So, when you use your WP&M credit for them, it's only to play "one" of the smaller courses (full 18 holes). So, you can't show up at Winter/Summerland and play both courses on the same day if you wish to use your WP&M credits to pay for both courses. You can use your credit to pay for the first course, but then you'll have to shell out cash for the second course, or come back on a different day.

One note...WP&M credits keep value even AFTER you have used all your Park Admission Days, and vice versa.

So, you could do a 5 day trip. Buy a 5 day WP&M with Park Hopper. This would allow a schedule like this...

(Prior to first ticket use you have 5 days with the ability to Park Hop and 5 WP&M credits)

Day 1) Magic Kingdom (Day 1 Park Admission) in the morning, Blizzard Beach in the Afternoon (1 WP&M credit), 18 holes of Winter Summerland Putt Putt (1 WP&M Credit), Dinner at EPCOT / Watch Illuminations (Park Hopper Benefit of your 1 Day Park Admission)

Day 2) EPCOT in the morning (Day 2 Park Admission), Animal Kingdom in the Afternoon (Park Hopper Benefit of your Day 2 Park Admission), Animal Kingdom Lodge for Dinner at Boma or Jikos (No admission needed)

Day 3) Hollywood Studios in the morning (Day 3 Park Admission), Typhoon Lagoon in the Afternoon (1 WP&M Credit), DisneyQuest in the evening (1 WP&M Credit), Eat a late dinner at T-Rex or something...

Day 4) Magic Kingdom in the Morning (day 4 park Admission), Hotel Pool for the Afternoon (no admission required), Magic Kingdom in the Evening (Park Hopper / Readmission for Day 4 Park Admission)

Day 5) Hollywood Studios in the Morning (Day 5 Park Admission), EPCOT in the Afternoon (Park Hopper for Day 5 Park Admission), Magic Kingdom in the Evening (Park Hopper for Day 5 Park Admission)

Now, note at this point, you have used up all 5 days of your tickets, but you have NOT used up all 5 of your WP&M credits.

So, this means you could add on an extra day where you can pick to go to any ONE of the venues that accept WP&M. So, day 6 could look like this.

Day 6) Typhoon Lagoon (Morning / Afternoon), Check out of Hotel and catch a late flight.

    Exactly!

Also, the full list of places you can use WP&M is:

    Typhoon Lagoon
    Blizzard Beach
    Disney Quest
ESPN's Wide World of Sports (you can catch the Atlanta Braves there during Spring Training, but there's other stuff to do there as well)
Fantasia Mini Golf (1 credit good for 18 holes, the course has 36 holes)
Winter Summerland Mini Golf (1 credit good for 18 holes, the course has 36 holes)
Oak Trail Golf Course (1 credit good for 9 holes. This is a family style walking course, no carts)

The expiration on your tickets starts the first time you use it at any turnstyle (this includes WP&M), and lasts 14 days.

And, as far as "no expiration", that simply means that any unused Park Days and or WP&M credits will never expire. Disney will honor them on future visits. But, if you plan out your tickets well, you won't ever need to use this option. But, as an example, if you did get that, and you used all your Park Admissions on your first visit, but still had WP&M credits left, the WP&M credits will be honored on your next visit (so, if you do buy the no expire option, don't toss that ticket!)

In addition, the tickets (including WP&M credits) may only be used by the person named on the ticket. This means you can't "combine" credits between tickets. This isn't generally an issue, but I thought I should mention it. If it's a Paper / Plastic ticket, that ticket will be assigned (by fingerprint) to the person, and Disney WILL check. If it's your Key to the World Card (your hotel room key / charge card / tickets...you get this when you book a package at a Disney Resort Hotel that includes tickets as part of the package), it follows the same rules.

Additionally, and I touched on this, you do NOT have to use Park Admission and WP&M on the same days. So, if you did a 4 day trip with the following schedule planned:

    Day 1) Magic Kingdom
    Day 2) Typhoon Lagoon
    Day 3) EPCOT
    Day 4) Disney Quest

You would only need to purchase a 2 day park ticket with WP&M. You would not need to purchase a 4 day ticket.

Anyhow, didn't mean to go on a ramble there, just thought that would be some more information you would be interested in.

I'm always glad to help, as are plenty of people on the forums. Feel free to post any questions you may have. One of us will probably have an answer! <grin>
