The problem I've found with Laila is it disappears after a few hours. On me, at least.

Re: 2014 Food & Wine Festival Report

    DAY THREE - HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

We only had half a day left, so we decided to spend it at Hollywood Studios, because I hate going to WDW and not getting to ride ToT.

    ATTRACTIONS

Muppets: There's a new character in the pre-show film.

Tower of Terror: Sat in the front row next to a young teen girl there by herself who had never ridden it before and wanted me to warn her about when to put her arms up in the air.

Toy Story Mania: I won both points and accuracy scores. And for the first time, DH didn't try to make excuses! To be fair, we were neck-and-neck until the very last scene, where you shoot as fast as you can. I'm faster. (And more accurate.)

    FOOD

Writer's Stop: Carrot cake cookie. If you like carrot cake, you must try this. Seriously.

Min and Bill's Dockside Diner: We wanted to get something at the Brown Derby's outside lounge (no ADRs needed), but we needed to get home to pick up our dog from the pet resort before closing, so we grabbed hotdogs in pretzel buns at Min and Bill's. I could have done without the hotdog. Just the pretzel bun with mustard inside would have been better for me, but it was ok. Definitely better than Casey's (but then again, almost anything is better than Casey's).

And so ends our 2014 Food & Wine Festival WDW adventure. Our 3-night Christmas trip is coming up in less than a month...can't wait!

    Great report Alice!

And I know what you mean about Caseys. Disappointingly poor.

So was your four-legged friend well looked after?

Yes! He stayed in a big VIP suite (almost as much $ as our Pop Century room) with windows (no bars) and TV. Lots of playtime, too. It's so hard dropping him off. He was so sad. I wish it was possible to explain things to dogs.

Sounds fun! Hopefully he loved it once he settled in.

I know what you mean though. Benny seems to think he's getting left at my dad's whenever we're down there and I pop out for 5 minutes!
