I'd quite like to try one although the size of the resort does out me off a bit.
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow

My mother has stayed there and she says a golf cart is a must, but that it's very peaceful

    Re: Cabins

I stayed in a cabin in 2004 when I wanted to extend my stay by a day. I thought they were very nice and roomy. They were also very quiet!!

Awesome. We were torn between the magic of a resort, or the quiet of a cabin

The cabins are great if that's what you want and if you want that rustic feel and environment. I think their a little overpriced and for the same price I'd rather stay at a regular resort. With that said, if you want the camping feeling then you can't go wrong with the cabins.

I'd love to try a cabin sometime. I'd also like to rent an RV so our dog can stay with us. I've never been in an RV, but they look ok to stay in for a few days and I like that they deliver and set them up for you. Are the cabins really considered moderate? They're more expensive than Wilderness Lodge.

It's good if you're in a cabin but it's still very hot. But crowd levels are low so take advantage of that. And go early in morning and late in evening and take advantage of magic hours. Also go back to resort during peak hours during hot tones and use pool because it gets very hot.

    Awesome thanks
We got all the essentials for hot ie water bottles cooling scarves etc
I'm used to Houston weather so I hope that helps
I was pushing for a late February trip to be cooler but got vetoed for september(because fam heard crowd levels were lower)
I have a feeling we are going to burn up

Nah. You'll be fine in Feb.

It will be a little warmer than Houston in Feb, but it's still in the 60s and 70s during the day, and the 50s at night. Quite comfortable.

That'll be a bit warmer. 80s and low 90s likely during the day.

But, Houston has around the same temps during that time of year. As noted, you should be fine.
