#1: Pirates of the Caribbean with $13,509,262 (a $4,469 per theater average)
#4: Finding Nemo with $1,898,076 ($700 per theater average and $280,730,487 total)
#6: Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas with $1,124,263 ($364 per theater average and $13,417,256 total)
#11: Rugrats Go Wild with $305,181 ($151 per theater average and $35,706,516 total)

Considering the strong following for both Johnny Depp & Orlando something alone, there would have been a large turn out for this movie.
Add into that that the fact it was the first Disney movie to be rated PG-13, there was no way this movie was going to miss!

By the way, with a $14,810,000 estimate for Friday, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was #1 again, beating League of Extraordinary Gentlement, which just had its opening day on Friday. It was #2 with an estimated $7,740,000

It was excellent... I usually dont like blood and gore type movies but that was well put togther with a nice story line.... the monkey freaked me out a bit.... but other than that i loved every min of it
