Do any of the hotels on WDW offer rental car service? We are staying in FL for a few extra days and visiting relatives in the TAmpa area. Do any of the hotels offer this or shoud we go back to the airport and rent from them?

I may be wrong, but I don't believe that WDW offers car rentals on-site. When we fly into MCO (Orlando Intl.), we usually rent from Hertz right at the airport. Their shuttle busses are running from MCO to Hertz practically every 5 minutes or so.

this may be a old thread but I'll answer it. there is a rental car facilty on WDW property there are technically 2. the first one is the main one that has been there for years and just changed names. but its located at the car care center directly across from the wdw speedway as you exit the MK area on your way down world drive. there is a pretty good inventory there and they will pick you up at your hotel. the second one is best for people staying in the ecpot resorts its located somewhere in the dolphin hotel. however they don't have very many cars there (hence the reason I said technically 2) they are the same company, ALAMO, at the dolphin as the car care center so they may have to get you a shuttle to the Car care center if they don't have the type of car you want, they also have limited hours so check the website for more info on the hours. also Hertz has a location right outside of WDW on us 192 just west of world drive. if you decide to rent here and need to go back to your hotel there is a backway in. make a right out of hertz and remember the speed limit on 192 is 50+mph. go up 2 lights I think and turn right onto sherbeth road if thats not it then go to the third light but I'm almost positive it is then when you get to the light turn right this is the ocesola parkway and you are right at the AK from there if you are staying at the allstars or CS they will be the first exit. epcot and magic kingdom resorts will be a left exit they will be the second exit, if you are going to CBR, PC, OKW, POR,PORFQ proceed to the to the next signal WWOS will be on the right, turn left here this is victoria way pop century will be the first on the right. for all other hotels proceed down to the light and turn right, CBR will be on the right, for POR, PORFQ, OKW continue straight throught the first light turn left aT THE second light. for OKW turn right at the second light onto community drive okw will be on the right. for PORFQ continue straight on that road it will come up on you right side. same with riverside just a little farther down. hope that helps any other questions feel free to ask
