Does anyone know any of the funny names used in the Aladdin Tv Cartoon? I just saw a old one and the names hit me like a brick like 2 hours later, sort of like three stooges humor, it has to sneak up on you.

1. a Genie, Frajeed - a Ice Genie? duh...
2. a merchant, Hasen Ben Seen Sofar?

did Disney do this for fun, or did theu figuire some kids might get the joke? or was this just the wierd disney writers having fun?
I would like to find a list of these.

also, who was the better aladdin genie?

Actually, it was intentional. They learnt that in order to have a hit these days they have to keep the stories true to the situation and charcters fo rthe kids, and fun with double' entendre for the adults. (At least...they knew it back then...they appear to have forgotten it these days!)

And how about some of the intentional camp in the Hercules series! Just as campy and just as much fun on all levels! I think the Lisa Kudross Aphrodite episodes are the funniest things on animated series work! Everytime she appears or disappears, she's accompanied by an off screen chorus that sings a bad commercial-esque tune:

It's not in a disney show, but it struck me funny on our last visit to the Boardwalk Resort at WDW. The Bakery proprietor's name is painted on the window, his name is Hugh G. Kroizzant. It made me giggle.
