Honey, I Shrunk the Audience Could be Replaced

Here is some news from an Article written by Jim Hill I've found. It contains some information on the fate of HISTA in Anaheim.

"Mickey's Philharmagic" -- as it turns out -- is going to be an extremely entertaining tribute to Disney's second Golden Age of Animation. Where memorable musical moments from great contemporary Disney animated films like "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," "Aladdin" and "The Lion King" will be recreated in CG form .... only with Donald Duck continually interrupting the action.

And if the current buzz on this WDI / WDFA collaboration turns out to be true, there's a very strong possibility that "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" may get pulled out of Disneyland in late 2004 to make room for an Anaheim version of "Mickey's Phiharmagic." Which could begin entertaining Disneyland guests as early as the Spring of 2005. Just in time for the official kick-off of that theme park's 50th anniversary celebration.

While I wouldn't mind HISTA getting replaced I don't think Philarmagic fits the theme of Tomorrowland. I have also heard that the screen is bigger at MK, so the screen would have to be enlarged in Anaheim.

IDD, I too would not mind it getting replaced, but would not fit the theme.

I say they should add a new building and keep them both (if MPHM comes to DLR).

I think they need to replace it with something else at WDW.When I went in May it was a very fuzzy picture because it has been used so much!!I kept asking my husband do I need new contact lenses or is that blurry and he agreed it was pretty bad.

I am sure they have back-up film somewhere they could replace it with. I bet it is digitial anyway, who knows.

Quite possibly it was something wrong with the projection of the "film".
