Left on the drawing board

Alright, here we go. First post that isn't just me introducing myself. Breathing heavy...heart racing...and away we go.

Being the Disney freaks that we are, along with knowing pretty much everything that happens in the parks, we also happen to know about alot of stuff that was meant to happen, but for whatever reasons, just could not get itself of the drawing board (and is possibly still sitting there waiting for the money or green light to make it happen). For example, I'm still waiting for the Russia and Matterhorn attractions in EPCOT's world showcase that I heard about on the Monorail in '94.

So, my question to you all is, what projects that were supposedly on the drawing board at one point or another would you like to see make there way into the parks?

For me, along with Russia and the Matterhorn, I hope that at some point Disney and Henson are able to once again strengthen their relationship to make the Muppetland that was once supposed to be in MGM along with the 3D movie. As I'm sure many of you know, this involves the Muppet Movie Ride and the Great Gonzo's Pandemonium Pizza Parlor. As my Muppet Mania greatly rivals my Disney love, this would make me oh so happy.

So, come on, ya'll what would you like to tell the suits to wipe the dust off of?

I think doing maybe one more Muppets thing would be nice, although my vote is for a Russian Pavillion. Do a replica of the Kremlin and there's so much fertile culture to go on, it's been on the world stage as a power for hundreds of years. I don't think we'll be seeing a Matterhorn like attraction in it though even if they do it as they seem to be using some similarities in the Expedition Everest attraction at AK. Above all new pavillions that are well done with some attractions in World Showcase at Epcot.

I would really like to see the Toon Studios with the Toon Tower of Terror that was supposed to go into Walt Disney Studios, being built. Without a doubt that would've been a gigantic succes.

Welcome to the boards, onelittlespark!

What was it that you heard about Russia and a possible Matterhorn in 1994? Also, Toon of Terror?

I doubt a new Matterhorn would be build because they already have three mountains, and E:E would be incredibly similar.
