Ok I have a question about Star tours!
Does anyone know some info on the specific operation of it? Like buttons pressed or etc?
Or if nothing else what order the steps go in, as I am confused and my memory is failing me.
1. Exit doors open
2. Entry Doors open
3. CM Closes Building exit doors.
4.Cm Closes Simulator exit doors
5. Cm locks seatbelts
6. Cm closes entry doors (except first row)
7. Closes simulator first row entry door
8. Closes building first row entry door
9. Starts attraction
3 4 5 6 are the ones i am not sure about.
Forgive me if I am babbling but I am doing a report for school on a Cm's duties at Star Tours.
(also which buttons do what for cm's)
Thanks A Bunch!

ya know one other internet site I used alot through highschool for refernences was (ok maybe not the best name but works well as a good source when you can't find the info you need, it'll have it) schoolsucks.com don't know if its still around but that site helped me out alot, one tip of advice a kid that went to school with me learned don't copy work directly from the site as a lot of teachers visit this site on a regular basis and know whats on it. I was never great in school, didn't really put a ton of effort forth and I always left papers untill 24 hours till they were due, so this site is great when everything is closed up.
my senior year of high school I wrote a 27 page term paper in 24 hours (yes plenty of coffee) about "the affects of nitrogen inflation of tires to conserve fuel economy and combat global warming on the transportation industry" I was surpirsed to find info on that topic on that site but it was there, My teacher thought I was slacking off my senior year and I was I turned it in and he asked me if that was event a real possibilty, I said to him well you've got 27 pages of reading to determine that.
I always loved that sight, funny thing is I just did a report on nitrogen inflation oh heavy truck tires for my last job and turned in a 87 page report and I completely forgot about that site.
Im sorry, i just looked at my list, Did I confuse anyone??? If so let me know how I can explain better. Thanks

Ok... back to the original post... Looks like you got the order right...and the button locations....the doors are located over the railings of the gangways... and then the panels are located in the center room where (although i don't operate the ride, so I don't know for sure) they have video cameras of each shuttle. And then run the ride from there.

you can read my signature to find out . But I do go to DL like all the time, (although not recently, been almost 2 months ) and that is one of my all time favorite rides (my all time favorites being BTMR and SM and obviously I cant ride them now), so I ride it everytime I go in the park.
Oh cool! The Sunwheel, that must be really neat, thats the one with the cars that swing as it revolves???? Anyway, the only time I ever went to DL was about...three years ago, while visiting my brother who was attending a boarding school in the Mountains. I remember seeing them just working on DCA, the only thing we saw was the rollercoaster with the Mickey Ears on (forgive me the name has slipped my mind...Maliboomer???) Well thanks!
