Tony Stewart is one of my favorite racers. I'd also like to see some Disney Nascar jackets with the one and only legendary Dale Earnhardt. Or with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Sterling Marlin, or Kevin Harvick.

well From what I understand this was a long time in the making, Disney's fear was having characters on the paint scheme of the car and one goes into a wall and kids see that and think Mickey's dead or something of that nature thats why you will only see disney characters on the pace car, disney figures it's a minimal risk that way. no news of bringing races back to wdw I'd love it if the truck series came back. this year they won't event host the public transit rodeo there they are going to daytona not sure why, the WDW speedway was perfect for it.
yah thats one thing I keep meaning to do, just haven't gotten around to it yet. but that is the only thing they use that track for. Sometimes I think they put that track in a horrible location.
not that I can remember. Warner brothers did alot of races last year with different characters on the cars but as far as I can remember last year bill elliot was sponsered by DODGE the whole year.
One big mobile billboard, as long as the car doesn't crash, think of the millions of people that watch Nascar nowadays.
I also now remember they raced 3 Toy Story 2 cars in Atlanta the year Toy Story 2 was released. One had Buzz, one had Woody and the other had Hamm & Rex as the main people on the cars.
hey there are some races we have upwards of 100 people in the breakroom during the race they finnally got the movie projector working so the race shows up on a 65 in. area of the wall. although we only get to watch a little portion of the race before work and during breaks most people there can tell you who is driving what car.
good memory on the lion king car, I must have missed that race it may have been while I was in the process of moving.
It must not be fun having to work on race days. I have a hard enough time having to come in on work days when they hold the races over to the work week because of weather.

I assumeing you were talking about my comment in the other thread I posted a link to. I did not make it, until the daytona 500 sunday and event then I was working and all I got to hear was the sound of cars racing around, stayed up there a while but wanted to leave before the crowd since I had a big truck with me. Of all times to pick to leave yup I decide to leave when the bush motorcade was leaving, had to wait but still beat the traffic, I may be working the pepsi 400 all night. that race I have a chance of watching from the infield, assumeing no presidents are visiting. that or I might buy tickets and take the day off from work and go watch the race.
Have you ever been to the LAs vegas race or the nascar cafe out there I hear its the best one they have?
