Is the Polynesian's roof color changing?

I was recently there in January and I was standing at the TTC and I saw the Tahiti long house's roof was being painted green. If you didn't know the normal color for the Polynesian's roof is a shade of brown but I saw it being painted green. Does anyone know if it will stay green or wil it be switched back to brown?I think change is good, so i would like to see something differant at one of our prized resort hotels. Someone on this website has to know or visited , stayed at the Poly or had seen it too!
LOL

Can anyone help me?! cuz i am on a search!

I will be down there in less than a month (see my counter), so I will definitely grab some shots of the longhouses for you. Do you remember which one was the one that was getting a change of color?

No problem. Also, I am not too familiar with the Poly, so do you know the relative location of Tahiti other than being closest to the TTC (i.e. : how to get there from the main building)?

Yep I do, take a look in the WDW Maps section on the left part of your screen on the main menu. The click it and it will have differant maps of the parks, resorts, everything. Look up Polynesian resort and then find Tahiti it will be up in the top right hand corner right on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Thanks for checking on that for me

When or if you get to the Polynesian you can ask for a map at the front desk, I did, I now have all of resort maps.....LOL ok ( yes i know, don't even have to say it)

i spend a couple of days getting all of the resorts in WDW. It was a rainy time when we were there, so plenty of time to visit the differant resort!

LOl you bet i did, i know my ay around amlost every Disney Resort hotel now, ( not so good with the All-Stars though....) but yeah, the Polynesian is a great place to hang out while it is raining, and the Grand Floridian, they both have great cast members, and lots of stuff to do. One other plus for the Grand Floridian is the nice seating areas in the lobby so you can listen to to the piano and band depending on the time of day you are there.

Better yet, I guess you can say that the architects at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, CA did a great job.
