Walt Disney Records Introduces The Baby Einstein Company's Collection of Classical Music CDs for Young Children on May 7th
"Baby Vivaldi" Newest Addition to the Award-Winning Line of Audio CDs
BURBANK, Calif.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--May 7, 2002-- Buena Vista Records is stepping up its ongoing commitment to promoting the development of babies and toddlers with the launch of The Baby Einstein Company's series of audio CDs. The series features recordings by classical Masters re-orchestrated into baby friendly concerts, in order to introduce babies to various sounds and compositions through the beauty of classical music.
On May 7, the label will release the entire series as well as debut The Baby Einstein Company's newest title "Baby Vivaldi," an all-new collection of music selections arranged by the renowned 17th century composer, Antonio Vivaldi. "Baby Vivaldi" serves as the musical compliment to The Baby Einstein Company's newest video title, "Baby Newton-All About Shapes."
"I had always been a great lover of classical music and I knew this was the kind of music that would be good for a child because it's beautiful and it's timeless," said Julie Clark, founder and creative consultant to The Baby Einstein Company. "When we decided to use classical music we knew it was really important to make that music appealing to little children -- which is what really sets us apart from anything else in the market."
Buena Vista Records will simultaneously re-issue several award-winning Baby Einstein releases, including "Baby Mozart," "Baby Beethoven" and the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award Winner, "Baby Bach."
Recent studies, promoted by the American Music Conference (
www.amc-music.org), have shown that music can have a very powerful influence on a child's development from the very youngest age. More information about these benefits is included in the packaging of each CD courtesy of the American Music Conference.
