24-Hour Sale On Airfare!!!

Hey everyone - Just had to give a quick update - for those that were considering flying to Orlando in the next month or so (through December 19) Independance Air is having a HUGE Sale for the next 24 hours. Until 11:59 Thursday October 14 they are offering 50% off all airfare into Orlando - My husband and I just purchased tickets for $24.50 each way - I am so not joking! We got our airfare for a total of $62 roundtrip! Awsome huh? Just log onto Flyi.com and sign up (free) then click on the 50% off sale... get the seats now because they are going quick!

Good Luck - hope others can benefit from this as well!

It surely did! Not to mention Independance Air is the first airline to offer a nonstop flight to Orlando from Charleston, SC - it really is the best of both worlds!

Nope it's a new airline that is only (for now) servicing the east coast. They are just like Delta or anyone else with the exception that they are virtually unheard of, and that's why they are doing these promotions- the only bad side is that they don't work with travel agents yet which could be a big reason for the lack of advertisement. Airlines rely heavily on travel agents to do much of their advertising - we're hoping that Independance will come around soon. In the mean time I'll just have to spread the word myself

That's the plan Lizzie - we're actually going with another couple so it really helped all of us! Our friends haven't been to WDW since they were little kids so this is going to be really fun reintroducing them to all the parks! We had dinner tonight and booked everything and then watched the Disney Planning DVD. It was such fun - I felt like we needed to go ahead and pack up! But we're not leaving for 2 months... it'll come soon enough I know!

Thanks for the info, thats what I thought. I was hoping that it was for a airline serviceing CT or somewhere close by. Sure would make my trip back home this december alot cheaper though.

I also just got a email from song about cut airfares out of Orlando but have yet to find one reduced fare on www.flysong.com I know I can't stand song but if the price was alot cheaper then southwest I'd book it.

if you come across any more good deals let us know jesserin. I'm kind of looking to do this trip on the cheap side.

This airline does service CT - in fact they service much of the north east! (if by CT you mean connecticut! ) Check them out - you might just find some super low fares available - and make sure you are flexible with your dates as traveling on M-W are far cheaper than the weekends! Good Luck!

thanks for that info Jess I have never seen there planes at bradley airport before and Last time I was there I had a 3 or 4 hour delay and walked around quite a bit.

well I just went to the link you provided, joined the Iclub and the flight was $99.00 each way plus goverment fee's. the flights also have a connection at dulles airport, with about a 1.5 hour layover, for that price I can get a direct flight on song or southwest.

it was worth a try though

oh well, at least you tried! - I find that sometimes they beat everyone to pieces and other times they're not such a great deal - I guess it's all in where you are going.

Confused....I went on the site, registerd under the iclub plugged in the dates and saw the prices. How do you know it's 50% off. They are only taking reservations through Sept. so with us flying out at the end of November I guess it won't work. Am I doing something wrong?
