According to MousePlanet News, Disneyland Resort executives have now started new "soft-openings" for the brand-new, newly revamped, Space Mountain attraction at Disneyland Park starting July 1, 2005!!! Every hour or so, depending on Guest Status, Disney Cast Members have praticed maintaining heavy anticipated crowds over the long 4th of July weekend by opening Space Mountain for the very first time since its closure in April 2002. The official opening for Space Mountain at Disneyland Park is set to debut on July 15, 2005, just days away from the grand celebration of Disneyland's 50th Birthday on July 17, 2005!!! Therefore, by rumors long ago which now exist, Disney has finally started their secret "soft-openings" for this well-known popular attraction! But even though you may visit Disneyland Park from here forth to July 14, 2005, there is definitely NO GUARANTEE that Space Mountain WILL be open. It is just basically a matter of luck & prayers! So hopefully in the matter of time, a TD'er or more may actually experience Space Mountain before its official opening!

Okay then, thank you everyone who has been highly anticipating the Re-Launch of Space Mountain and has read this. Just wanted to inform those who were interested. Well, good luck; and be sure to write up a TD Trip Report if you are lucky enough to ride this attraction before official opening!

Yeah, I heard about this and was glad... I loved Space Mountain!

When I was at DL a couple of weeks ago I heard that cast members were testing it. I'm going again in December and looking forward to riding it again.

I hope you all have fun. I am a Big time DisneyLand fan, even though I have never been. But I will go and that Space Mountain should be ready for me then. Well I can't enjoy riding on it before it opens up again, but that is fine I mean no one can or should be able to do everything. I am very thankful that I live so close to DisneyWorld and I have my Space Mountain here in Florida, so rather then be jealous of people who go to DisneyLand a lot and who live near DisneyLand I find it much better to be happy for them In fact with this kind of attitude it makes me happy also, plus I am happy with myself and that makes me more happy he he
