Six Flags, the seccond largest amusement park chain in the world (seccond to Disney) put itself up for sale yesterday. This happned one week after Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder bid to raise his stake in the amusement-park operator and oust Kieran Burke as chairman and CEO. Six Flags, which has 30 amusement parks, said putting itself up for sale was "the best way to deliver full and fair value" to shareholders.

Its for sale? Awesome!! My dad was just saying the other day how cool it would be if Disney bought Six Flags, and had a bunch of mini-WDWs all over. xD Besides, I hate Six Flags.

Could you immagine if Disney bought Six Flags? Makes ya wonder: Can Mickey and Bugs really get along ? Think about it. lol I'd love for Disney to have more rollercoasters. I'd be there every weekend.

That would be pretty cool if Disney bought it, actually. I don't know that they would, but it would be cool. Especially since we have one a lot closer to where I live - less than a two hour drive - as opposed to Disneyland which is about a seven hour drive (more or less) from where I live. It would be really cool if they bought it and started bringing in some classic Disney rides such as POC, Splash Mountain, etc. I would like that a lot.

Well, they would have to totally get rid of the Looney Toons theme. xD But they would probably make a lot more money though, since lots of people mabye can't afford to go to Florida or Cali, so they would have a park close to home to go to.

I remember that about 10 years back, i went to Six Flags and I actually saw a person coming out of one of the souvenir shops with a DISNEYLAND bag It was the white ones with the mickey face on the front. It was kind of weird.
