Exclamation Booking package online vs. Booking over the phone

I'm getting ready to book our trip in May, but I'm not sure whether it's best to book our package (through Disney, including room, tickets, and transportation) online OR over the phone. Thoughts, suggestions, stories?

Also... would we be able to request a specific room/building at this time, or do we wait until closer to May?

Thanks, again, guys!!

I usually book over the phone . I found it is easier to get a perferred room that way .

And yes , at the time of calling I make my needs known . Because of a problem with my leg I always ask for a first floor room .

I always ask for a first floor room because after walking around the world all day I just couldn't see doing steps. ack!

I always call after researching on their website. I have found I personally save a few $$ that way. And this visit I found I had a pin code available to me that I did not receive via email. So glad I called in!!

Hope this helps you!

If nothing else, START with the website. There you can browse packages and alter them any way you want and kinda find the one that fits you and your budget best. I have tried it both ways and there seems to be little difference between the 2, but the website saves you time wondering about things like ticket options and stuff! Have fun!!

I agree- do your research on the website. I have always booked my Disney trips on the phone. Make all your requests at that time.

Yup, the old one-two - - start online and then either print out the info & call or if you aren't on dial up, call them while you're looking at the web pages so you can talk about what you're seeing and what you want... there are infinitely more options when talking to a live person than dealing with a website, even a great one like Disney's.

Good luck!
