Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

I have a question regarding this event ... when does it go, how do you buy tickets ( do you have to buy in advance, how far in advance?), where is it held and is it ever held at DLR? Is it hard to get tickets for it? etc. basically any and all info because this is the first time i've heard about it and it seems really fun and i'd like to go to it. I'd appreciate any and all info!!! Thanx

Actually the dates should be being released within the next month or month and a half if I remember correctly. You don't have to buy these in advanced but it is strongly recommended to make sure that you get the date that you want. It is held in the Magic Kingdom, on that night the park closes early to set up for the party and then the only way to ride the attractions you have to have a wristband. I am not sure if they do anything like this at DLR.

From what I know the only dates that are the hardest to get the tickets for is the weekend closest to Halloween.

This is one of the best times to go to the parks because there are chances that you can catch the villans out and about for photo ops. At least more so than normal. Plus the majority of the characters are in costume also. Just something different. You will also be able to get TONS of free candy.

Last year I went to my first MNSSHP....it was so much fun! We got so much candy, got to practically walk on to the rides, and we got to meet some characters that we hadn't before. It was a great time.

I went ahead and moved this thread so it would get more attention and was a better fit.

I've actually never been to MNSSHP but I may break down this year and go with my new digital camera and get some great shots of villains as well as maybe even the Headless Horseman (if I can catch him).

Last year my best friend and I took my younger sister and her two friends to MNSSHP. We all loved it! It was a great time, and definitely something I'd do again. I would reserve ahead of time, because when we were planning our trip (we tend to book things right before our trip though, like 2-4 weeks before, so we may not be the best example) the first night we'd selected was one of the few that sold out in advance. Luckily we just went with the next available night because it wasn't a problem, and it was so much fun. We stayed until the very end, and after 11/11:30 (it ends at 12, i think?) you can do pretty much any ride you want without a wait. Plus some cool CMs gave us a few bags of left over candy, because we were some of the last people there.

Does it last all day or is it just a night event. And are costumes encouraged? I would loooove to do this it sounds like a lot of fun!!!

It is just a night event and costumes are encouraged. All the pictures I have seen have had people dressed up in costume. Kids and adults. When I go this year I know I will be in costume.
