Jim Hill has a pretty interesting article over on his website about the possible return of the Dream Finder and a complete re-do of the Imagination Pavillion at Epcot. This seems to be the beginning of some of the festivities for Epcot's 25th.

I for one am psyched b/c hopefully with the orignial designer and folks who are dedicated to this project they'll be able to bring this once great attraction back to its previous glory.

I think dave goletz from the muppets is going to be Figment.
but I am not sure who will replace DreamFinder's voice.

That would be cool if Dreamfinder came back. My Dad loved that ride when he was in it and he just wishes that they would bring him back. I think that the ride hasn't had that much sucess since they renovated it a few years back.

While I'm all for an update of the Figment Ride, I hope they can replace Honey I Shrunk the Audience soon. Let's face it that attraction is showing age BAD!

At one time, they had talked about adding an indoor coaster to the Imagination Pavilion called "Brainstormers." I always thought that would be cool. I'm pretty sure that there is no room for it now with Soarin' and all.

But hey with every Spark......

Soarin is over at the land and an indoor coaster would be kinda kool but disney has to many of them already. Space Mountain, Rockin Roller Coaster. Also i hope they bring back Dreamfinder. The only reference they make to him in the ride is a door which i think says "Dean Finder"

though Figment is always fun, I would always welcome change to the imagination pavilion. I really wish they would bring the after ride showroom back up to snuff.
I really do like the new version but what will really make the pavilion what is was would be to bring back the Figment meet and great!!!!

OK, I'm confused. This thread was started in 2006.

Am I right in thinking that nothing has been done to the ride since then?

I vaguely remember the old Figment thing with the robot at the front (they were in the same attraction, right?) but don't know when they put the current ride in.

We rode the latest version for the first time this year - not impressed to be honest!

You're right Winkster they are the same attraction, just updated! I kind of like the purple figment, his singing really gets into your head! (or could it just be that sings along with him???)
