    Disney's College of Knowledge

All righty.... I have been Googling this foolish thing for an hour now and all I get are blurbs about travel agents who have successfully completed Disney's C o K.

Does ANYONE know how you can enroll in said college? I realise it's not an actual college, and figure it is an extensive course of some sort...and I've started to toy with the idea of enrolling and then farming myself out to area travel agencies, since there is a dearth of Disney Specialists in the area.

Anyway. Does anyone know of a website which might give info about this? Thank you!

I was toying with this idea also. I mean, after all, we DO know ALOT of stuff about traveling to WDW. Plus I am ALWAYS giving out my advice and tips to friends, family and strangers ... ANYONE who will listen. I think I ought to get paid for my work .. (well except for when i am here at TD !!)

I believe CoK is a school/education process travel agents have to go through to be certified in designing/reserving Disney vacations.

I believe the courses may be available at local colleges. You can check http://www.wdwcollegeprogram.com/ and see if they're offering courses.

It looks like the Hospitality & Tourism major would fall in this category. I could be wrong, but this is the only thing I've found that even sounds like what you're looking for.

    Hiya... First post here...

I just graduated with my "Ears" last week. The College of Disney Knowledge is an online class for Travel Agents. You have to have an IATA or CLIA number to register and take the class. I had been planning Disney World vacations for family and friends for over a year before I decided that I wanted to become "official" (which means I can earn commissions from Disney). I spent weeks researching how to become a certified agent- completely independent from an agency. There is so much info out there that it's hard to get your arms around the Travel Agent industry. I've found a few REALLY helpful things- and have managed to become an "Authorized Disney Travel Speciailst"... PM me if you want more info. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
