Santa Claus surprised Liam (age 7) with a trip to WDW, we arrived on Dec 27 and left on Jan 7; we had a blast. We beat the crowds by sleeping in and not hitting the parks until 10:30 or 11 am every day and staying in the parks until after midnight. Some nights MK was open until 3 am. We loved those extra magic hours. We stayed at the CBR and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The resort was quiet, clean and had beautiful landscaping.

Great Photos! Looks like you had a wonderful time. It's funny to see shorts and short-sleeves at Christmas. And of course, the ponchos too.

One questions, where did you get to meet Belle dressed in her ball gown? I've only been able to meet her in ther regular blue and white dress. I would love to have a picture with her in the gown.

We were at MK and my son (the ladies man) wanted to 'flirt' with the Princesses so we went to toon town and there is a place in that huge store behind Mickey's house where you can meet the Princesses. It wasn't really busy so we got to hop from one Princess to the other.
We live in south Louisiana so hot weather at Christmas time is nothing new to us. When it rains @ WDW people scatter from the parks like crazy. We pull out our ponchos and enjoy the place without crowds.

I've never been to that character spot. It might be hard on this next trip because we've got 8 people going. I guess I'll leave it up to a vote if they all wanna wait in line for me to meet Belle. If not, there is always next year.

I'm from south Louisiana as well. I guess you could call it south. I'm in Walker which is 12 miles east of Baton Rouge. So warm Christmases are normal. And we too pull out the ponchos and keep on going when the rain comes.

This waiting is driving me crazy. I've been on this board all day long just reading stuff. Just a few more days and I'll be there.

At the ToonTown Fair, there's usually 3 lines to meet 3 different groups of people! 1 was Chip, Dale and Donald, 2 was SnowWhite, Cinderella and Belle and I can't remember the characters in the 3rd one!

Oh, and the X-Ray machines are at the Wonders of Life pavillion. Not at the Land as I posted above!

Ahhhh! No wonder I'm not familiar with it; Wonders of Life is always closed when I'm there. (How very annoying!)
