Atlanta family kicked out of Universal Studios Orlando theme park after Simpsons ride altercation

An Atlanta family was removed from Universal Studios in Orlando and ordered not to return after an altercation on the "Simpsons" simulator ride (pictured at right).

Cassandra Nix and her family were escorted out of the park and given a trespassing violation by Orlando police. They were told not to return to Universal's property for the next year under the threat of arrest.

Nix says the problem started when a fellow guest complained that her 7-year-old daugher, Ariyon, was yelling too loudly on the ride. She claims that the complainer used foul language, causing Nix to ask park security to call the police after they got off the ride. She was planning to file a complaint against the woman, but it was her own family that ended up in trouble. Click here for the story on CBS Atlanta. Nix and her three children were told they cannot return fto Universal for a year due to their role in the conflict.

Thus far, the other guest's side of the story has not been reported, although the fact that the Nix family was removed indicates that it was likely more than a case of someone screaming at a child.

There HAS to be more to that story. Nobody's entire family gets removed from a theme park and issued a trespassing violation unless they did something more than talk to park security.

I'm curious to hear the other side of the story. And I'm sure there were plenty of witnesses that could give the whole unbiased story.

I was thinking that, too. I didn't really understand why Universal would take THAT drastic of a measure because of what was explained in the story. What are we missing?

This is so stupid. All the little girl did was just yell on a ride because she was having fun and when the girl's mom goes to complain to security and to get the cops to tell them about what the other woman said to her daughter they get kicked out for trespassing. How in the hell were they trespassing??? What they do jump over the park fence? "Alright honey im gonna lift you over the fence." "But mom there's barbed wire up her im gonna get hurt." "Never mind that sweetie pain only makes you stronger. Think of all the fun we're gonna have cause mommy doesn't have to pay a dime to get in. Oh honey if you break an arm or leg once you hit the ground just snap it back into place and walk it off."

There has to be more of the story than we're hearing. No one gets kicked out of a theme park for simply filing a complaint.

yea but i doubt we'll get the other side of the story. they want us to focus on what happen to the Nix's
