Question CityWalk

I've been to UO/IA, but never done much there besides those two parks. What is CityWalk and is it worth the time?

Re: CityWalk

CityWalk is Universal's version of Pleasure Island and West Side.

There are restaurants like The Latin Quarter (very good!), Margaritaville (ok) and Bubba Gump (fun and ok food) plus loads more or pretty much every variety you could ask for.

Here's the website...

I like CityWalk. It's nice to stroll aroud in the evening - although I wouldn't make a special trip for it. We eat there but only when we come out of the Universal parks later in the day or are in the I-Drive area.

Re: CityWalk

I'd pretty much agree with Winkster, it's basically Universal's concept of a shopping/dining area. If you're headed to Universal it's the area you pass through before getting to either park. They have several restaurants/bars, a movie theater, some shops and a few night clubs. If we do a Universal day we usually try one of the restaurants; most of which aren't terrible. Of the ones we've tried the only one that really was a bit of a letdown was Margaritaville.

Re: CityWalk

CityWalk is also good if you're looking for better affordable food than is available in the parks- Panda Express, Moe's, and the Whopper Bar are much better than some of those °°°°°° counter service restaurants, and CityWalk is a nice break from the chaos of the parks at mealtimes.

Mmmm - Panda Express!

I know it's wrong but I'm soooo in love with Panda Express.

We ate at the City Walk one. It was much the same as any other - which is great for me!

Ok, I know it's nothing like proper Chinese food but it's sooo good all the same.

I want a Panda Express in the UK. In fact I want one in our village!

That's reason on it's own to visit City Walk.
