What movie would you suggest to a particular DW resort that would be appropriate to show on a daily basis. Some of the resorts (very few) show movies, or documentaries. Sometimes a movie can give you that "special something feeling" that you are exactly where you want to be. Now I know there are many great shows going on throughout the day. But there must be a show that is specific to your resort of choice.
On our departure day last year we had some time to kill and it was raining hard so we hung out in the loby of the YC and DD got to watch some old Mickey Mouse cartoons. It was a nice way to say "See Ya Real Soon"!

My guess for Riverside was a little adult. I was thinking of relaxing and watching Streetcar by myself. But Tom Sawyer would be perfect.
What about the Lion King At AKL. There I am more in the realm with adults and kids.

I love that. Being the video world is so much better now and I'm seeing the beginnings of 3D, well its not new but its starting to hit the homes. Be nice if Disney had a 3D film within the room. That would cap a nice fantasy kind of magic.
I am beginning to see that you meant in-room movies. That would be nice if the resorts would have a movie channel, but I think they would prefer everyone to be out spending money.
I did get a small list of movies that can be tied to a resort for either indoor, or if they ever had a night time outside program, for outdoors.
POR: South of the South French Quarter: Princess and the Frog CB; any of the three Pirates of the Caribbean Movies Coronado; The Three Caballero's Polynesian; Lilo and Stitch All Stars; Any Toy Story AKL; Lion King Contemporary; WALL-E

I heard they are making a movie about "Christain the Lion".
Anaimal Kingdon would have a field day with all the movies they can show. I guess Christian the lion would be a close remake of Born Free.
I think it would be absolutely wonderful to be watching the Lion King in the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas. And if and when the Haunted Mansion rooms open, obviously the Haunted Mansion. And the PRincess rooms, of course I would have to bring all the princess movies. I would LOVE to watch them and realize the small details in the room right out of the movies. Like how I saw in the sample pictures, the small mouse holes, the rose on the mantel, the golden lamp, and so much more. If anyone gets to do this tell me...I will forever loath you...ha ha. I hope you all may experience this, it would be so fun and really complete the whole and magical Disney experience. But still, whenever I go I bring a few of my favorite movies, regaurdless of the resort or room, and its still great fun!
Oh, and I have decided for my future stay at the Contemporary Resort to bring along Wall-E because Wall-E is all about the future and is very modern. The Contemporary resort is modern, with all the white chic items and with the monorail ("The Transportation of the Future " .

How about Black Beard's Ghost for CBR...old Disney movie with Dean Jones in it...not as intense for little kids
POP century you could show any of Disney movies that have the Characters made in EXTRA LARGE form....like Lady and the Tramp
ALL Star Sports...the Rookie Disney movie with Dennis Quaid, there are a number of Goofy sports cartoons
ALL Star Movies...too many to count Old ---THAT DARN CAT, FREAKY FRIDAY, CAT FROM OUTER SPACE
