Staying at POR for the first time and trying to figure out which building(s) to request...so if anyone has suggestions??
1) We need a room with trundle, so it would have to be alligator section
2) It would be nice to be near main lobby
3) While we dont need to be too close to the main pool it would be nice to be near any pool (by the way, is it even warm enough to swim in late november??)

Any help is MUCH appreciated!!

I can't help with POR, however I'm sure Winkster will have something to say!

As for swimming in November, we swam almost every day last year during the weekend after Thanksgiving untill Dec. 5. It was chilly in the mornings and later at night but it was purfect for swimming around lunch time untill around 5:00 at night.

Congrats on getting the details worked out.

P.S. our trips will over lap by a couple of days - we will be there from 11/29 - 12/5. We should compare ADRs.

LOL - I seem to have a bit of a reputation!

Simple answer though - Building 14 and, if the budget will allow, get a water view as you'll then be facing the river and will not only have a great view but will be as close as possible to both the food court/restaurant etc but also to the main pool on Ole Man Island.

There really isn't any other building on the Alligator Bayou side that meets yor criteria.

You won't get any disturbances from the main pool or from the nearest quiet pool (as that's around the other side of Building 18 which is behind you).

You also won't even be able to see the food court building as it's hidden by trees (typical Disney attention to detail) but there is a side door to the food court which is literally steps from the corner of Building 14.

We stayed right on the corner of Building 14 last year and had a great river view (the Alligator Bayou rooms have fenced walkways rather than the concrete walled walkways on the Magnolia Mansions side so you can actually see the river from your room). We weren't disturbed by the food court but were seconds away from it if we wanted to refil our mugs etc.

I'd love to stay there again!

Another building just next to #14 is building #27. It also has a river view and is very, very close to the main building.
Both buildings are close to a pool, and a place to wash clothes.
It is where we stayed on our last trip.
It is always good to have a backup!
