Re: AoA little mermaid
Here's a link. I'm booked for one of these rooms in December. Can't wait!

Re: AoA little mermaid
I wanted one of these rooms so badly but we arrive 2 days BEFORE they open!! And we would loose our free dining savings by switching resorts half way thru

Well we don't have any kids but I want to try out the new resort though. Little mermaid isn't one of my favorite Disney movies and we have stayed at pop and were very satisfied for as much as we spend in the room. I wish they had a few standard rooms in each wing though so at least you could ask for a certain one

I feel the same way! It doesn't make sense to me why they didn't do that but then again this resort was made so that larger families would have more options in the value category along with apealing to the smaller families as well with the themed decor/areas. It's crazy though, we can get 2 standard rooms at a value resort for less than a value family suite.

Well I wanted to try it out because its new and I heard the food court is much better with healthier options than pop. It's only 30 dollars more per trip than pop so why not. I'm just an armchair archetect I guess

Agree. It doesn't make much sense that I can get two rooms and sleep 8 people for less than one suite to sleep 6...

These rooms look so fun
Great decor...if I stayed here, I would definately feel like a kid again which is the general idea when I go to disney

Re: AoA little mermaid
The LM rooms, unlike the Suites, have outdoor hallways, just like Pop. The doors are flat though, unlike the indentations at Pop. Otherwise, the two hotels look very similar. I'd imagine the rooms themselves are probably a bit more posh, and I can't wait to see pictures once people start staying in them.
However, if you want fresh pictures of the outside, here are some from today!
1982 - Contemporary (1 week), 1987 (2 weeks, offsite), 1988 (1 week, offsite), 1989 (3 weeks, offsite), 1990 (5 weeks, offsite), 1991 - 1995 (6 weeks, offsite each year), 2004 (3 days, offsite)
--------------------
2010 - 2011 CBR (2 weeks each year), 2012 - Leows Royal Pacific / Pop (15 days), 2013 - DisneyLand Hotel (3 days) - Contemporary / DCL Fantasy / POFQ (upcoming, 17 days)

I can't wait staying there in Feb. extra days to so we can walk around the resort and check it out
-
Staying there during halloween. Can't wait.
- I wish they didn't have outside hallways. The inside hallway style is quieter and safer. But since they built lm rooms in the old pop century expansion building they had to stay like that. Oh well. I wish cars or lion king had standard rooms. I still don't know why Disney would not include a small number of standard rooms in every section.
