Hi there! My best suggestion would be the Rose & Crown Pub in United Kingdom, they have outdoor seating behind the restaurant. The past few times I've been there, I've been lucky to view Illuminations while enjoying dinner. The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I would make an Advanced Reservation to eat around 7:30pm'ish, take your time eating, sit back and enjoy the show! Hope this helps!

Rose and Crown!! If you can get a PS for that one at around 8 ish. Then get there early and ask for a table on the patio. Sometimes you get lucky and you can get on the side of the lake and it's a great view of the fireworks. The only down side is that you can't see the ones that go really high because of the canopy. However a lot of people do this so it's a hit or miss. We ended up on the side and it was not that great a view but the other 2 times we were on the lake side.

Good Luck!

Rose and Crown is definatly best. If you are lucky enough to get a table outside it is greatand even if you don't they have a private place outdoors to watch them.

I COMPLETELY agree with them. The Rose and Crown would be me first choice. But if you can't get a table there becuase of crowds or whatever, you can also see the firworks well from La Cantina De San Angel in the mexico pavilion. The food is not as good by far but it's the best second chioce.

I've never eaten at the R&C. I wanted to eat inside there when I went last summer but it was closed for construction.
Anyway, the Mexican pavillion outside is good.

I believe this will work. Last time I was there there was a group of at least 8 people out on the patio.

We enjoy eating at Mitsukoshi in Japan and we watch Illuminations from their balcony outside. I'm not sure about a view while you are dining.

Don't go to the Mexican Pavillion. It is super super super crowd! Omg the last we did that, there were too many people and not enough spots to sit/rest/lean. Head toward England and Canada. Great spots there to sit. The view I think is super there. Plus the Rose and Crown could hold a party of 10 I am sure!

Re: best epcot restaurant for views of the fireworks

The best place if you are willing to spend the money is Bistro De Paris. It is the resturant on the second floor in France. The food is supurb and the view is perfect. You are above the trees and the crowds. They have tables that are right on the window so it is almost like a personal firework show.

We like to get there 15 min before the fireworks. That way we see them first thing and then by the time dinner is done you can walk through the park alone. The last time we went we were actually escorted out of the park because we were the last non cast members in the park. It was really funny. It was a long walk to the car though.

The roped-off areas in the non-dining spots are for special events (like dinner parties, weddings, ect). I know 2 of the locations are in Italy and France, and sometimes the spot by Fish and Chips in UK is too.

The restaurants that would have views of Illuminations are the sit-down in UK, the seating of the CS in Mexico (no reservations), and I think that may be it. So your best bet would be the place in UK.

Thank You!
where is this "sit-down" in UK?

Re: best epcot restaurant for views of the fireworks

Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion has a cocktail lounge in the front of the restaurant. Located on the second floor, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a fantastic view of the lagoon. You can order appetizers and/or sushi, but I don't believe full meals are offered in this section of the restaurant. It's one of our favorite places to take a break during the day, and if you time it properly I'm sure the show would be magnificent from this vantage point.
