I recently heard about Concourse Steakhouse closing, does anyone have any details? Is it just a simple rehab or is it on its way out? Any info would be appreciated!

Yes it is closing.
This is a Disney release on the topic.

ConcourseSteakhouse(Contemporary Resort) is expected to close permanently approximately March or April 2008. Major changes are planned for the resort's restaurants. A table service location called The Wave will open in the old Food and Fun Center location approximately March or April 2008. A new counter service restaurant will open in the old Concourse Steakhouse location approximately 8/14/08.

I agree, I enjoyed it when I was there. Hopefully there will be something great to take its place!
