Your perfect Disney meal

Not that I'm food obsessed or anything (no, really!) but, taking your experiences of all the meals you've had in WDW restaurants, what would make up your ideal Disney meal?

You can take any individual course from any meal you have ever had at WDW and combine them to make your ultimate meal, just tell us what you'd have and where the different courses would come from.

It doesn't have to be flash. A turkey leg and a dole whip would be just as good as the Kazazhstan wild osetra Caspian sea caviar from Victoria and Albert's.

My perfect meal would be:

Appetizer: Smoky portobello soup with roasted shitake and chive oil from Artist Point at the WL.

Entree: Porterhouse steak with garlic fingerling potatoes from the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club

Dessert: Seasonal berry gratin with champagne grand marnier sabayon from Citricos at the GF.

Mmmmmmm!

So what's yours?

Re: Your perfect Disney meal

Hmm...Great question! I don't really do appetizers but I would have to say the pretzel bread at Le Cellier. The Honey Chicken from Yak & Yeti counter or the Braised Lamb Shank from the Wave for main course. Dessert would have to bea Min and Bill's Chocolate shake and a funnel cake from Liberty Square.

Ok...the next couple of weeks better start flying by! LOL

Re: Your perfect Disney meal

I love this question! Winkster you always come up with the best topics!!

While I haven't tried all of these I think this would be awesome,

First a cocktail - either a Grand Mariner slush or a Lapu-lapu

Appitizer - Ceaser salad and Crab cakes from the Captains Grille.

Entree - The Oak grilled filet with mac & cheese from Jiko

Dessert - Bannanas & Caramel from California Grille.

And it wouldn't be complete without a window table to see Wishes!!

After you would have to roll me back to my resort!!

Re: Your perfect Disney meal

Ok, I've been thinking and I need a back up meal!

Appetizer - Lettuce cups (minced chicken breast, chopped vegetables and maple tamarind sauce in crisp lettuce cups) from Yak & Yeti in AK.

Entree - King scallops with spicy tomato sauce and fried meelee-pap from Jiko at AKL (I still dream about that dish - sadly it's no longer on the menu)

Dessert - Caramalized peach cake from Artist Point at WL (again, no longer on the menu - but boy, it was good!!).

Mmmm - I may be drooling now!

Re: Your perfect Disney meal

Since I don't normally eat at table-service restaurants at WDW, I'll give you my perfect Disney meal from only counter-service restaurants...

Cocktail: A glass of Chardonnay from France in Epcot

Appetizer: Vegetable platter from Morocco in Epcot (I'd have to split this with someone)

Entree: Hummus sandwich at Columbia Harbor House in MK

Dessert: Dole Whip

Ah Alice! I knew you wouldn't let me down with your veggie platter. I felt guilty for not trying it on our last trip although the Moroccan chef's special was really good.

And the Hummus sarnie is pretty good too - I love the Columbia Harbour house.

Great choices CA!

Just 22 days until I'm back at WDW and can have the veggie platter!
