Hi,
We're going to be in Epcot for next year's food and wine. I've never eaten at Teppan-edo. Can you view Illumiations from the dining room at Teppan-edo? Is there any outdoor seating? If Teppan-Edo is not a good choice for Illuminations viewing, then is there any good choice that is NOT 2 table service credits? (I know about "Rose and Crown) are there any others? Thanks in advance for all your help. Everyone on here is so nice, and the advise is really appreciated.

Have you thought about counter service instead? The new Mexican Cantina looks like it could have some great views.

I'm not sure that there's much else on the edge of the lake really. From memory I think the Rose & Crown is the only other restaurant with lake edge seating.

If you get there early, there are some tables in France on the edge of the lake. They are meant for the ice cream, crepe and champagne stands so you could just snack on those while you wait for the fireworks. We had a perfect view from there.

The new Mexican restaurant will be table service for dinner - with views of Illuminations. I'm not sure about the dinning plan credits though.

Last year we had dinner at Teppan Edo and as we were leaving the restaurant Illuminations started. You get a good view of the show from the deck at the top of the stairs. There are no tables though, so you need to be done with dinner to watch from there! It was a nice spot to watch from!

Yup, thats exactly what we did!

Our ADR was for 8:00 but we had to wait about 15min to be seated. You really can't rush through dinner because of the show but it was definately worth the time.

I recommend the Chicken & Shrimp or the fillet (I didn't like the regular steak - it was kind of tough and not very flavorfull).

It's a fun spot to watch from, you get a different perspective of the lasers.

The deck outside Teppan-Edo is a great place to watch from. We have watched Illuminations several times from there but sometimes it can get crowded.
