What is your very favorite restaurant at Disney World parks, Downtown, or any of the resorts on property?
What makes it special for you?

No surprises for TD regulars with my choice...

JIKO!!!

The food is amazing! Competely different from anywhere else on WDW and not the same recycled variations of chicken, beef, ribs or shrimo that you get in almost any other WDW restaurant.

Service was brilliant - attentive without being over-bearing, our waitress was very knowledgable on both menu and wine list and we had a fantastic night.

It's just a shame that it's so expensive!

Mmmmm yummy! What do you like there? We are very into Thai, Japanese, Ethiopian, Indian, and pretty much anything from the Mediterranean! Going to look up Jiko now! *smiles*

I had to look up what we last had there on my trip report!

I had "two ways tuna" (a seared piece of tuna together with a sushi tuna tikka) to start and then had giant scallops in a rich spicy sauce with a wedge of deep fried meele-pap and assorted accompaniments.

GORGEOUS!!

Yumm, we'll have to try and make it out there- this sounds like a very good restaurant!

My family loves Spoodles Pizza on the Boardwalk!! We also like a restaurant close to Splansh Mountain (it serves BBQ as well as Hamburgers).

I assume the pizza place has gone now that Spoodles has closed down - can anyone clarify this?

Good news, the Pizza window is still there! We didn't eat there so I don't know if it's the same pizza.

The old Spoodles is now Kouzzina. I do have the menu.

My favorite restaurant is Teppan Edo in Japan! It is soooooo good and entertaining! :-)

i have two
the big river brewing works at boardwalk
it was terrific, food was nice and hot, and the beer was fantastic

and the house of blues

My favourite restaurant is San Angel Inn (Mexico) at Epcot.

I love everything about it - the foods, the atmosphere .... everything!

I also like the House of Blues. Nice spot for some Canjun food. I do like the ribs there.
We always have been lucky to dine there witout an ADR. I am not even sure if they accept them?
We have never had to wait more than 1/2 hr to be seated.

I have the same favorites. I agree about Jiko. I loved it.

Since you like Mediterranean food, if you're at Epcot and want something quick, try the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. I love the vegetarian platter with hummus, tabbouleh, lentil salad, cous-cous, olives, green salad, and a big hunk of bread.

Also, the bar menu at the Poly has an appetizer that has three dips (hummus, baba ganoush, and sun-dried tomato) with a variety of breads and flatbreads.
