Re: Where is the best place on property for seafood?
I haven't been there yet, but I've read good reviews of Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian and Flying Fish on the BoardWalk.

Narcossees at the Grand Floridian. Great, fresh-tasting seafood in a fantastic atmosphere that feels calm and intimate. We usually make a late appointment so that we can watch the Electric Boat Parade on the Seven Seas Lagoon as we eat. It is head and tails above any seafood restaurant in the parks or resorts.

Narcossees or Coral Reef.
Also, UK has great fish and chips if you are into that.

We're English and were a bit disappointed with the fish and chips because that's not how us Brits eat fish and chips! We have mushy peas (with mint sauce in em) curry sauce or gravy with ours!

Re: Where is the best place on property for seafood?
Hahaha, well, I'm american. So, none of that. Crispy fish and fries. That's what I want. It's a wonderful mid day meal, with a good beer, I think.
Plus, I don't remember mushy peas and mint sauce or curry and gravy on them (outside of the fries) when I visited the UK as kid growing up in Germany, though that was the 80s. Perhaps memory fails. I do remember newspaper.
This year I was planning to take the munchkin to London/Paris, using a Disney vacation, and then to Disney Paris for a week...but my god...it's expensive. I opted out.
On a side note, perhaps the same reasons you don't like UK fish and chips are why I dislike the Germany food?
I make better speatzle.

Getting us back on track though, I've always wanted to try Narcoosees as the seafood looks great there.
Plus, the view looks like one of the best in WDW!
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow

Re: Where is the best place on property for seafood?
I would have to say Narcoosees even though I haven't eaten there. I toured the Grand Floridian and saw the restaurant and it looked and smelled amazing...expensive though. I ate at Flying Fish Cafe and they used the vegetables from the Land and my salmon was delicious but my boyfriend's wasn't good so I guess it depends on what you get there

- Todd English's Blue Zoo at the Swan and Dolphin is BY FAR the best option on property. It's less crowded there and out of the way--its a resort you would probably never get to see if you didnt eat there! Try it
