Be our guest- 2 dining credits
I have the "Everything Walt Disney World" page on Facebook and she had posted that the Be Our Guest restaurant will be 2 dining credits for the quick serve lunch and also 2 dining credits for the table service dinner. It caused a lot of uproar that Disney was going to make it 2 credits for quick service. What is everyone's opinion? She got the news straight from Disney. Although it could always change.

No it's not. But apparently they will be serving on glass dishes. And using real silverware.

She's a travel agent an the words came straight from Disney so idk but I agree I think thats a little much. But they know people will still eat there because it's new.

I'm still dubious.

I tend to take this kind of thing with a very large pinch of salt until I hear it officially - no matter how reliable the source.
Interesting thought though!

Re: Be our guest- 2 dining credits
I had always assumed they were going to make it a character meal / sit down experience similar to Cinderella's Royal Table.
I guess not?

Re: Be our guest- 2 dining credits
I kind of understand why they are taking 2 QS credits at lunch, it's supposed to be a inbetween sit down and Counter Service. The food is delivered to you on real tableware and such. If the food is that good then yes I agree with it, but if the food is so-so then I think they should go to making it a 1 Table Service Credit Lunch (with better food) and 2 for Dinner or something of the sorts. I know their thoughts are more people will get to dine in there doing it this way. Like Cinderella's castle not everyone can afford to eat there, so this still gives you the experience without all the cost.

For what I've heard Be Our Guest lunch is not a traditional QS but more of a hybrid. You order via a kiosk then the food is brought to the table. The quality of the food seems to be superior to usual QS. But even considering that I don't see any reason to charge 2 credits.

I've seen the menu (It's on the Disney Foodblog) and I'm not surprised it costs 2 QS credits. It looks really good and more healthy.
Ofcourse I hope it only costs 1 credit
Looking forward to our Disney vacations

Re: Be our guest- 2 dining credits
I wonder how that would work with the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan?
Would you still use two credits?
Imagine using enough credits for a meal at Jiko or Narcoosees and ending up with a counter service meal (even if it is on a glass plate!).

I think that's part of the deal with the deluxe plan you can use all of your credits for TS meals ( which means you would get the most for your money) or you can do 3 QS per day, it's up to you how you spend them. Do I agree? Not neccisarily, I personally wouldn't use mine that way but it does give them the option to do so.

Re: Be our guest- 2 dining credits
I can't see this lasting as a 2 credit meal (for lunch) very long. Once the initial surge goes down (after the holidays) it will very likely be like all other QS places. Somehow like Winkster I wouldn't be surprised if this is a bit of a premature report though.
Go Noles!

Re: Be our guest- 2 dining credits
Hi everyone,
I havent been on TD in a while but I saw this and had to post.
According to the Disney Dining Plan brochure Be Our Guest will be 1 CS credit for lunch and 1 TS credit for dinner. It is not a signature restaurant.
Here is the link to the dining plan on the Disney site
