Disney dining plan & room service

hey guys this is my first post ever. I'm a WDW virgin and going for my honeymoon in June 2013 (can't wait, although DLP only 40 days away). We have the DDP and I was wondering if you could use it for room service or if you had to pay separately?

    thanks Kat :-)

If you order Pizza it is 2 adult dining credits to have it delivered to your room not sure about any other type of room service I am sure you could but it would prolly be more dining credits if you did.

I want to use my DDP credits or it'll be a waste of money paying extra for food. I really want to order breakfast so I don't have to get up so early

Just got back from a three week trip and we used DDP for room service. It is two credits per person for a meal, dinner is the best option in terms of value for money as you get three courses and a drink which could be a large bottle of water. Breakfast is one choice for two credits, we added cereal to one of the choices and got charge two extra credits, however these were credited back when I queried it. The pizza is the worst deal, it is a pizza for at least two people and so they take four credits for this, even though if you paid cash it would be $30. You do get a drink and dessert though, but even so I don't think it equates to four meals.
