I might be wrong, but I thought Italian at Epcot was "redone" this winter. When I was there in Jan there was remodeling and a "coming soon" sign. It still may be worth a try.

The biggest change is in the Italy pavilion.

L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante will close Aug. 31, and a new operator, the Patina Restaurant Group, will reopen the space the next day, operating a generic Italian restaurant with a different menu until the summer of 2008, when it will close for remodeling. It will open again late next year with a new name, new look and new menu.

Alfredo's management would not comment on Disney's decision. The company, Alfredo, the Original of Rome (Fla.) Inc., is run by Russell Bellanca, son of the man who owned the North American rights to the use of the name of the original Roman restaurant. Disney says it's the most popular at Epcot, grossing more than $20 million last year.

The decision to change the Italian restaurant operator came about as a business opportunity to modernize the eatery, says Memo Emec, Disney's regional manager of operating participants.

Those close to Alfredo's say the company's management was surprised by the decision. It's possible the company will use the value of the Alfredo's brand and relocate off Disney property, perhaps in a non-Disney hotel in Lake Buena Vista. "

Isn't it the worst when you're still on the boat waiting to disembark and you see the doors open and people entering the theater and wonder if you'll make it in time to run through?

Food and atmosphere wise, i would have to put the Coral Reef restaurant on this list. The service was alright, the food and price ratio was horrible. Not getting your moneys worth with the food they serve. You wont have a good time unless you sit next to the window (we got the farthest table from the window, our table was next to the exit...) I didnt enjoy it and that was the restaurant i thought i would enjoy the most from the trip. The tv shows, Full House and Boy Meets World, didnt do it justice. That's probable the only reason why we ate there.

True Chubby Patato. Back to attractions for me. I really think that if no one in your party is trying out for american idol then it can get a little boring but we had a singer in our group and he made it to the top three. The other show Elenor's something... well that's terrible!!

As far as worst restaurant goes, I haven't had a lot of experience with them other than counter service. The worst counter service restaurant for me is Cosmic Ray's. I'm always disappointed by their food.

It took me 3 trips to WDW to get someone in my family to try this attraction. Yes, I knew it was going to be horrible but I still wanted to try it so that I could at least say that I had. My daighter finally tried this attraction with me on our trip last year and she almost puked when it got to Stitch burping on you. LOL Needless to say, we will never enjoy his company again.

Well the only part I really hate about the SGE is when he eats the hotdog w/ onions. Blugh! I don't like onions and the smell of them makes me also wanna °°°°! Lol

I completely agree with everyone about SGE! I was so excited to try it out the first time, but afterwards...let's just say it was the first & LAST time.

With such consistently bad reviews for SGE, it got me wondering how attraction ideas come to fruition at WDW.

Do the Imagineers have test audiences before they actually spend the money to build and install it in the parks?

And speaking of bad reviews, why is Sounds Dangerous still there? What a waste of valuable space!
