Hey Guys! When I read Goofydad's post on What bugs you at Disney World or Disneyland I thought it would be nessecary to have a post on making a rule that would stop the things that bug you at WDW or DL. So make up a strictly enforced rule that would prevent those things that bug you.

It would be saving places in line. But with an exemption. For ex. the family (all but one are in line and say one comes and joins. Or when a parents is returning with the child who had to go to the bathroom.
The rule will apply to the one person who is not a big ride person but that is holding the spot for everyone in the party that went on the big ride then come and jump ahead of everyone.
Did that make any sense!!!
Last year we were in line for Kali River Rapids and a girl pointed to a small group of 3 and I said sure. Well behind her and following her was a group of 12. That was just so wrong.

i would say just be nice and respectful to everyone. we are all on vacation here and we all want to have a good time there is no need to get mad at someone cause the accidentally walked into you or get frustrated cause the person is walking slower than a speeding bullet. lets all just relax and have fun for pete's sake we are in disney world!!! THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!!

Would add to the exemptions listed someone holding a spot for an elderly person or a person with mobility issues. But totally agree, I´ve been through the experience of having a big group cut right in front of us, I felt really "Dopey"...
The use of flash photography during indoor rides and attractions will result in immediate ejection from the park.
I cannot stand this!! I got off of It's a Small World last year literally seeing a bunch of green spots in my vision because the jerk in the front seat of our boat kept taking flash shots the whole ride.
I'm loving me stitch's "be nice and respectful to everyone".
WDW would be a far better place (even though it's amazing already!) if people followed that rule.
I don't think people are deliberately disrespectful (very rarely anyway) - though I do think it's easy to get so tied up in what you are doing, you accidentally overlook others.
It could be something as simple as stopping in front of people and causing a "pedestrian crash", being too loud (or not controlling kids), line jumping - any of these minor things which can spoil the moment for others.
I say bring in the "Respect Police"!

Couldn´t agree more... Once came out from Pirates of the Caribbean half blinded by flash photography... Why don´t these guys just buy the DVD sold at park stores with all the rides?
I guess I would be ejected because I don't even know how to turn off the flash on my camera
I do agree that it boils down to respect, and have some consideration for others.
I guess my big rule would have to take place in the restaurants, that rule would be if your child is disruptive, screaming or running around, you must remove the child from the situation, unruley children are a pet peeve. My kids were taught how to behave in public, so I know with a little effort it can be done.

Re: What rule would you make?
My Disney rule would have to be if there is a child in a show screaming their head off to take the child out immidiately. I understand that sometimes you cant help it if your child is upset, but dont ruin it for others by just sitting in there. I can't stand it when I'm wating a show and there is a 2 year old behind me crying.
I think that most of rules ends in being polite and respectfull. That little things that makes us feel better - like being kind to someone elder or a pregnant woman...
In the other hand there is a kind of "wining" in many teens, preteens and adults, who hold place in line to larger groups, take advantages all the time (try to get always the best spot, the better place), and face what should be a vacation as a "war game", like if someone indeed win anything by being and acting that way.

Parents who do not take control of their unruly and disruptive children should be taken out of the park! I mean, if I acted in the manner that half of the children do in WDW these days, my parents would make me stay back at the hotel! I understand that a temper tantrum is bound to happen, it's hot, there is so much to do, and everyone is tired... but make sure your children know that it is not alright to be disrespectul!

*I have been to WDW at least once a year since 1984-2003...But I'm not sure as to where I stayed (I was too young)*
October 2003-POP Century*October 2004-POP Century*October 2005- French Quarter*June 2006- POP Century*October 2007- Animal Kingdom Lodge*May 2008- Coronado Springs* February 2009- Coronado Springs*October 2009-Pop Century*March 2010-Swan & Dolphin
Yes, some children can really be a nuisance... Running, screaming, throwing tantrums is simply unacceptable. I don´t know what goes on these kids´parents minds to allow such things. I would be so embarrassed if my daughter did something of the sort, and would immediately leave... Luckily this has never happened... Two thumbs up for the rule!!!
