Re: What's the thing that you worry about the most when you are at WDW?

OK, you're making me nervous. How does Disney deal with lost children? Where do you go, what do you do to find them (other than scream their name and bawl your head off)? What do you teach your children to do if they get separated from you? It's always best to have a plan rather than worry or you'll go thru life cringing, right?!

Re: What's the thing that you worry about the most when you are at WDW?

The very best thing you can do, if your children are old enough and can understand, is to have them:

First - Find a CM.
Second - Have the CM take them to a designated meeting spot such as directly in front of the major park icons.

Then you keep looking in the general area for them with another CM while you send another person from your party to that meeting place.

The last time I was on the Jungle Cruise our tour guide said that unattended children would be used in the It's A Small World attraction until claimed...

If a CM finds the lost child, they handle the situation in a couple of ways. They can either walk the child around the area for a few minutes (looking for members of the party), and then go to Baby Care. Or, the CM can take the child directly to Baby Care. When my family comes to visit, we told my little brothers that if they got lost, stay in that area and look for a CM. Luckily, so far they haven't gotten lost yet.

Re: What's the thing that you worry about the most when you are at WDW?

I now have something else to worry about.

Benny the rescue dog!

We rehomed him a week ago from a local rescue centre and he's currently leant against my leg looking rather grateful having just returned from an hours walk around the local fields where he's been desperate to chase deer (we rarely see them in the fields but three ran straight past us - within 10 yards - scary!).

I think I may have to be nice to my parents as there's no way Benny will be going back to a kennel when we go away!

Yes, be very, very nice. Benny should never have to be in a kennel again.

Re: What's the thing that you worry about the most when you are at WDW?

I was always worried about Sparky when we were away even though he always stayed with my parents. Can you imagine how I'd be if he was in a kennel (not that it would ever have happened!)???

Luckily Benny was on his best behavoir at my parents last weekend so I reckon he's got a good chance. They're as big a soft-touch as I am when it comes to dogs!

Re: What's the thing that you worry about the most when you are at WDW?

I always worry about things going wrong at the airport or if were ill while were away, it's never happend the 5 times we've gone, but you don't want to be ill while in orlando, my parents have set up there own business in the last 3 years and we've been away for only a week each year to spain since they've started the business so when we go next year for two weeks to WDW my mum will be worried about it, and if it's still running when we get home, but you have such a great time you forget about home, and you worry about the time going so fast and wish your there forever.

Very few worries. If I had to say, probably rain.

Re: What's the thing that you worry about the most when you are at WDW?

My worry is the days/weeks before our trip - the weather - flying out of Wisconsin at the end of November. Snow! As soon as our flight takes off.... my mellow sets in and I don't let anything harsh my mellow!!!

Re: What's the thing that you worry about the most when you are at WDW?

First and foremost I always worry about missing our flight! We almost did a few years back.... then I worry about flying itself! Lastly, losing one of my kids in the park, but I am so anal my husband says it just won't happen! My middle one is a wanderer so I always say "never say never!" But I really don't worry about much once I'm there, it's not possible, it is the happiest place on earth!!!
