Was there in May 2008. Loved it and going in 2010. Coming back should not be a sad moment. What I do I enjoy myself when Im there and think of ways when I return what I can do different to make it even better. Like many people here Disney isn't a one time but a life long experience.

I agree with you. Disney is a life long experience not a one time. I do the same thing when it comes to thinking of what I can do better. Whne my family and I leave, we talk about what we want to do again the next time and where we would like to stay. As a former cast member, we would always promote that in our guest at Magic Kingdom.

Couldn't have put it better myself!

I do always feel a little blue when we leave WDW - especially after 2 weeks by which point I am very nicely relaxed and into the Disney way of life - but then I know we will be back (even if we don't know when).

As Mandy0726 says, planning the next trip is then half the fun.

Like Sofia's Dad, I also spend ages thinking about what we can improve on next time - as well as what we really enjoyed and want to do again. That way, our trips just get better and better!

We've tentatively started talking about May 2011 for our next trip. We love May and think it's the best time to go and, as May 2010 is a bit close, 2011 seems the obvious choice (we were last there in May 2009). That gives us lots of planning time!

We were at the parks for 10 days at the end of July 2009. we were suppose to be going this June, but we found out my wife is expecting, so might be another year or so until we get back!

I was there at Thanksgiving 09... It was the most crowded we had seen in a long time. But it was still FUN! We just took our time. We loved Princess Tiana's showboat in the magic kingdom; but they have stopped it now

We want to go this year during the last week of August. Its going to be hot but I don't want to take my child out of school this year. Not that Im saying its bad for those who do. Im tied up in may june and july. I heard you can also get some good deals. Have not seen them yet. Any suggestions when to book and maybe get one of those free meal plans. Last time I went was in 2008. So I am do with having a good time there as my wife and daugter are bringing WDW vacation plans. But I never went during this time of year so im not sure when to start booking now or closer to the time when we are available to go. If its the last week in August when is the best time to book. Again I know there are deals during the hotter months, but when are they advertised?

I think they will come out in March, however, if you book through Disney you don't need to wait, they will let you apply any discounts or specials that apply to your package when they come out. All you need to do is call and ask.

It's very easy, I always make the minimum deposit and then make payments untill I feel like I have the best deal and then I pay off the trip, that way I don't need to worry about getting a credit back, the discount comes off of my balance due!

Our last trip was July of 2009. 10 days, staying at the caribbean beach resort. Had the disney dining plan and LOVED it! Can't wait until our next trip, probably not until July 2011 since my wife is expecting our third child this summer.

Thats interesting. I emailed and someone at wdw and they emailed back and sounded as if they won't do that but I quess i can. I guess they don't want me to do what you did because it works.
