We will be arriving in WDW in 45 days and are soooo very excited! We decided that since MK is open til 11pm on the 5th and it is DS' birthday we weould give the Dessert Party a shot! We have heard nothing but wonderful things about it! So I called and called and called and was unable to book it ! I was beside myself, so yesterday I tried again and wouldn't you know that it was available, but not for a party of 5!!! It was available for a party of 8,9, or 12!!! I could not believe that we had to book for more! Technically we are 4 because the baby does not pay! What can I tell you, it is what it is... but the moral of the story is that if you intend to book before it ends on Dec 29th, be very wary as to how many are in your party and the system capability to book the amount of people you have! I am VERY thankful that some of our friends who will be joining us for the day are willing to participate with us for this event!!It is the actualy party for DS!

If you don't get to go before the end of the year, don't fret too much; there is a very good chance of the re-launch of a new and improved Wishes Dessert Party next year. I get the feeling due to the reception it's gotten they may look for a new location for this.

Thanks Patty! I did tell them it was DS' bday. From all that I have read and the CM I spoke with, we should have no issue seeing Tink fly! DS sooo wants to see her fly for his big day! Sorry we won't be able to meet up, that would have been fun, but I think you and I actually live farely close... Jersey Shore?? DS has no idea we are going either! It will be so much fun to tease him on the drive down! LOL... I soooo can't wait to get there! Hope you have a VERY magical trip!

Please tell me more about the wishes party. I am going in May to celebrate my grandson's 1st communion and I would love to book for our celebration.
As of now Mandy, it will stop running ddec 29th. We actually called to add 3 more people to our ressie and it was not a problem. So excited, it has turned into a full blown birthday party for my son! I noticed you will be there soon. It is available on every night, however, if you do choose to book it, make sure you are not doing it on a xmas party night unless you have tix for the xmas party.

Thanks Mandy! From what I hear the dessert party is relaxed, you never know, you and your friend may enjoy it!! We will be a loud bunch on the night of my son's bday I can not wait to get there... We have had a very tough week and I am lloikng forward to the happiness that fills the second you hit WDW property!
