Ok first off we got there and come to find out that both nights had been upgraded to standard rooms on the concierge level (7th level) at the wilderness lodge, which means free drinks and snacks throughout the day, desserts at nights and breakfast. We hurried up to our room to find a little chocolate canoe on the bed waiting for us. Right when we got there we asked about being the flag family but it had already been booked. That night we went to downtown Disney to the rain forest cafe for dinner and did a little shopping. The temp was around the low 60's so we decided to hurry up and get to the hot tubes, by which i was a little disappointed because one of the heaters were out of service so it wasent the hottest it could have been. So the next morning we got up bright and early to have our breakfast and make it to the Magic Kingdom for our "keys to the Kingdom tour" by 930. We still had to activate our season passes at the ticket center so we were going to have to take a boat to the contemporary and then the monorail to the ticket center and then back to the magic kingdom for the tour, at about 830 we were still sitting on the dock at the lodge, pretty upset because we were going to be late. When the unexpected happened and it just shows you the type of people work at Disney, when an off duty employee was fishing by the dock in his personal boat offered to take us and another couple to the ticket center by which saving us about 30 mins and letting us arrive on time!!!!
The Tour itself was awesome very informational an exciting , the tour guide knows everything there is to know about Walt Disney and the history. He showed us some hidden mickeys and we found some on our own too! (pictures to follow). After the tour we decided to just lounge at the hotel the rest of the evening and enjoy the room and concierge lounge, pool an hot tubes.... the next day we went to epcot which i havent been in years, altho i love disney and just every thing about it, epcot is not one of my favorite parks, the first thing we did was get a fast past for Test track and then headed over to mission space to start, and that was a bad idea i usually am fine with roller coasters or motion sickness but mission space made us both sick for the rest of the day, we didnt even feel like going on test track, we kinda just walked around and looked for hidden mickeys, ate lunch and drank some beer. This weekend we also got into the whole Pin Trading thing, being a fireman i tried to find all the mickey fire dept i could find....needless to say i will be back there very very soon
