Re: Favorite Park

Epcot is my fave by a mile.

DHS and MK are fighting for second although I think DHS just wins over. It's smaller but we're more chilled out there than at MK - I find DHS more relaxing.

AK comes in a long way off in 4th in fact I'd probably rate Downtown Disney (via the POR boat, of course!) and the mini golf courses before AK and they're not even parks!

Re: Favorite Park

Epcot is my fav, but I do not feel like I am at WDW until I walk on to Main St USA in MK, so MK is my first park to visit, then the next day we head for Epcot, taking at least one whole day for future world and one whole day for world showcase, at least that much if not more depending on length of stay.

Re: Favorite Park

MK all the way, with AK at night during EMH a VERY close second, either that or Epcot as number two

AK during EMH?

I'd never considered that. What happens at night?

Worth us going?

There's nothing super "special" going on. It's more of a vibe, feel. The place empties out fairly quickly because some of the rides are closed, so we can walk slowly enjoy the views and take in just how quiet it is. The tree lights up, and Everest takes on a different look.

If you are standing on the bridge to Africa and look to Everest you can see the lights from DHS and they line up beautifully with the points of the mountains, you get the view of the tree. We can take an almost private walk along the trails under the tree. The only "loud" part of the park is in China and maybe the dino-rama. It's along the same lines as the last 20 minutes of MK during EMH. Just a very wonderful, peaceful end of a day. Only you can take a glass of wine with you. LOL

One of my favorites.

Re: Favorite Park

Sounds great! I think we might have to add that to our list. We liked Yak & Yeti so maybe we could do that during EMH then stroll round afterwards.

Thanks for the info!

Re: Favorite Park

I voted for Epcot. At first I couldn't decide, but I started thinking about how Epcot is my "comfort park." It's relaxing and open. It's more spacious. It has a huge variety of things to do. I love all the different cuisines. I like that the shops don't all sell the same stuff. There are so many reasons.

(I've never been there during peak season, so it might not be as relaxing.)

Winkster, I've only been to AK once after dark. It does have a different feel. I love the dark paths away from the main areas. Kind of spooky when there aren't many people around.

We do an early dinner at Y&Y and then do the EMH. It helps clear the park out. LOL

You're welcome!

There is no WDW without MK, It's the first park we visit and the last we say goodbye to,
But,
As we have a ' Magic Kingdom ' in DLP,

I have to say Epcot is my favorite WDW Park. My to favorite attractions, Test Track and Soarin are there, and I love walking around World Showcase, listen to the music and taste the different food
