    Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique??

Is it better to take your own dress to BBB or buy one there?
What is the quality of the dresses at BBB?

Take your own! They cannot hold or guarantee a specific dress in a size, so if she wants belle in size six they may not have it and you are paying a lot for one of those dresses. I would definitely want to get the one she wants at least for as much as it costs. You can add on the pictures and stuff if you want it like the big package once you arrive. If you are driving, some kids clothes resale shops around orlando have tons of the princess dresses.

If u can afford it get her one from bbb it makes it more magical and the quality it very high. My dd was princess Tiana back in oct and her dress is amazing! Even now when she wears it to fancy dress party's I have mums asking we're it's from because it's so beautiful. But it's very expensive, it cost us $250, but worth it.

well its 189+ you get the dress, hair and nails with picture package.

But just hair nails and glitter goodies is 59.95+ so it is cheaper to leave that dress out!

I'm taking my 3-yr old daughter to the BBB for the 1st time in May. After Christmas I checked the Disney Store online site to see which dresses they had. They were pricey so I waited another week and they put them on sale. I bought her the dress she wanted (Rapunzel), a beautiful ribbon-wrapped headband with roses, and a ribbon-wrapped wand for $40 including shipping. The dress and accessories are gorgeous, she's going to love them. I booked her appt for just her hair, makeup and nails, which is $50 I think. The pkg including the clothes would have been $150+, so I'm saving a lot by taking our own. Oh, and I talked her grandma into giving her a Disney gift card for Easter rather than candy, so her BBB trip is now free.

No Kidding!! My wedding dress is about the only thing I spent more then that on, no way would I EVER spend that much on a kids dress! Plus, I wouldn't feel like she could "play" in it because it was so expensive. I am sure the dresses there are different than the ones you buy in the Disney store but the kids will never notice.

I have a friend that did the entire big package, I thought it was crazy but it was her choice and her daughter loved it!

    Re: Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique??

The first year I didn't do it with my kid. There is a boutique behind the castle where you can try on and buy dresses. They double as her haloween costumes.

Last year she did do it (all decked out) with her mother, as it was her mother's first trip to Disney, and I thought they would enjoy the experience together. This year, I may or may not do it. It's several hundred bucks if you go all out...

If you just want the "makeover", you can get that done at the barbershop on main street for like 15 bucks. They do glitter, etc...

Like anything, the cost may be steep, but sometimes it's about the experience. My daughter and her mother thoroughly enjoyed it...but it's not my cup of tea.

We did Bibbidi bobbidi last October and it was my dd first time doing it so we wanted her to have the full experience so we did the full package with dress and all. It was expensive but totally worth it to see her reaction to everything. The dress in my opinion was better quality than the one we bought at target for halloween one year. If this is her first time I say do the full package. Next time we will just bring our own dress since she already got to do the whole shabang!

We did the boutique last year, the one in the castle my daughter was 11 so didn't want the dress but had her hair and make up done, we used it as a bribe for her to behave herself for the 2 weeks we were there! We got it done the day we flew home it survived the 9 hour flight and 3 hour drive home and stayed in for 4 more days, she loved it they made her feel so special and her friends back home loved it!
I think she'll be too old to do it next year, she'll be 13!

I dunno, I just don't think it's worth the money. If some people do, kudos to them. I'd rather take my kid out on the moterboats at DTD for a few hours.

we have a Disney store near us so we buy from their and bring one. they normally look just like the ones in Disney but are at least 20$ cheaper! XD last year we brought a dress from home, and a crown and I even made my little sister a bouquet (they didn't have any for the tiana set?! :c) and we planned on getting her all dolled up one night. I brought my makeup and glitter and she looked just as good as any of the other girls from the bbb! we are gonna do it again this year she got lots of compliments on it last year .

    Re: Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique??

Reading back through this, I want to amend my previous posts.

The BBB was DEFINATELY worth the whole package once. My daughter and her mom thoroughly enjoyed it. We reserved it at 6:30 with 8pm at Royal Table, and she adored it. I took the kid to the Pirates Makeover (which was closed), so we bought about 100 bucks worth of pirates stuff from the gift shop, including a full Jack Sparrow costume, wig/hat/sword and all. He got lots of compliments about it.

While it's not my cup of tea, doing it once all out is certainly worth it. I would always say do the one at the castle.

Who doesn't want to get made into a princess in a princess castle! Also, the dresses are quite sturdy, and a much higher quality then the ones you can get off property, however they are the same ones that are sold in Tinkerbelle's shop behind the castle.

If your kid is into princesses and dress up, it's a must do.
