    Details most people miss

Every attraction at WDW is so detailed it's hard to notice everything. Sometimes you run into an attraction without stopping to look at around.

So in this thread I'm looking for details that you're pretty sure most people miss, but you particularly like or want to point out.

NOTE: I'm not looking for hidden things like Hidden Mickeys. Just interesting details that most people don't notice.

For example, I love the music in the dinosaur section of Ellen's Energy Adventure. It's a little bit chaotic and psycho in a subtle way.

Also, the ceiling in the Kali River Rapids queue has beautiful hand-painted murals that tell stories.

I like on Pooh how they have a picture of Owl receiving a deed from Mr. Toad. I miss Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.

Great dedication to the previous owner of that lot! Have you ever been inside the tree outside of pooh? Theres a carving in the wood of the nautilus from 20,000 leagues under the sea--another retired fantasyland attraction!

I have been inside it (quite a sqeeze), but I completely missed the carving! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it next time.

I also like the key under the mat at Muppets 3D and of course Tinkerbelle stuck in a box!

I have, and that is awesome!

Did you know that there is only one horse on the Royal Carousel with a golden ribbon tied to it's tail?

    That one belongs to Cinderella.

Yeppers, that it is! I had that on LaserDisc as a kid. (showing my age)

Another one of my favorite details is near 50s Primetime Diner, in the second story window. It's the silhouette of Roger Rabbit and a window dedicated to the best P.I. ever...Eddie Valient.

    p.p.p.p.p.please!

According to jim korkis this is not true--just a myth. He has talked with many of the caretakers in fantasyland, including Isle Voght who personally cared for the carousel for over 20 years. In fact, he has pointed out, that cinderella never rode a horse in the movie and they are all american steeds with american icons--nothing with cinderella's crest or anything such as that. Also, the gold-ribboned horse is a "B" horse--meaning it is slightly smaller than the "A" horses which make up the outer rung...Cinderella would have been on the outer rung--the "A" horses.

So, although this myth has been widely publicized as truth, it isn't what Disney had in mind with the golden ribbon.

Just a fun bunch if facts for you all Jim korkis rocks!

I've never seen this and i love who framed roger rabbit. This is such a good hidden detail but i read that this detail gets tampered with. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it's something else. I want to go looking for it next trip!

Great! It's fun to notice things that most people just walk by.

    A couple more of mine:
*the windows up around on Main Street (at MK)
*the phone in the hat store at MK (if you pick it up, you can hear a conversation going on)
*the machines in the train station on Main Street (no idea what they are called! but they are pretty cool).

There's a futuristic phone booth near the TTA. If you pick up the receiver and push the buttons you'll hear conversations, too. I think there are different conversations for different buttons, but I'm not sure.

Lady and the Tramp's paw prints are in a heart in the concrete outside of Tony's in the MK.
