It was open when I went in August 2011. It is no longer under "new management" and they have brought back the Orange Bird merchandise as well as most of the original show.
1982 - Contemporary (1 week), 1987 (2 weeks, offsite), 1988 (1 week, offsite), 1989 (3 weeks, offsite), 1990 (5 weeks, offsite), 1991 - 1995 (6 weeks, offsite each year), 2004 (3 days, offsite)

2010 - 2011 CBR (2 weeks each year), 2012 - Leows Royal Pacific / Pop (15 days), 2013 - DisneyLand Hotel (3 days) - Contemporary / DCL Fantasy / POFQ (upcoming, 17 days)

I may get flak for this, but I prefer the "Under New Management" version better

No matter! I had seen "UNM" in the past and watched the latest version on my last Disney trip. I like the current version better just because Iago was so annoying! Tiki Room is cool.

But Tiki room is still one of my favorites. It amazes me at all the details put into that show!

I much prefer the original version, although I'm not a big fan of the Tiki Room to begin with. I really disliked UNM, but I don't mind the original retro kitschy version.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback. Well can't wait to go back next year and see it for myself being I have never seen it. And also heard they brought back the Citrus Swirl in the Sunshine Tree Terrace which my Fiance said is awesome. Cause it wasn't there either when I went.

The Tiki Rooms is one of the few attractions we just don't do anymore.
Whether its the original or the new management I just find it boring (sorry Alice - and Alice's DH!).
