Re: We Need a Tomorrowland Revamp.... Badly!
Were you "That Guy"? *grin*
I enjoy Monsters, Inc show. It's certainly better then the Flik show at Animal Kingdom (to me)...but I don't see how it fits into Tomorrowland. I think it would be a great transitional ride from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland though.
That being said, I'd love to be "That Guy"...or the "The guy who buys churros for everyone"...
To the point where I think I'm going to make a t-shirt that says "That Guy" on it, or "I heart Churros", and wear it under a button up shirt that I take off right before the show and see if they pick me!

Lol my husband got picked because he was in a bad mood (was tired from traveling and working) and he had a sour face on. But that cheered him up he couldn't stop laughing

Re: We Need a Tomorrowland Revamp.... Badly!
I love the Laugh Floor! Its a neat little attraction that is good for a few laughs. Yes the jokes are corny, but I think thats what I like about it. The show is a little different each time you see it. And the audience participation is great. I had to buy churros for everyone one time and my family still talks about that every time we go. What is the reason some people hate this attraction so much?
To keep this post on topic, I don't think it fits in perfectly in Tomorrowland, but where else would it go? I don't see it fitting in any better in any other land in Disney World, execpt maybe the unofficial Pixarland in the Studios which only houses TSM

I agree. It definitely needs to be updated. The stitch ride was better as alien encounter and buzz ride should be moved to Hollywood. As for some other rides they just need updating overall. With all these price increases you'd think they'd be updating more.

Re: We Need a Tomorrowland Revamp.... Badly!
I know what you mean - and I'd love to see more.
I guess Disney would argue that they have redesigned lots of queue areas (Haunted Mansion, Pooh, Soarin' etc), are already mid-way through a huge park expansion in Fantasyland and have the Avatar area planned for the near future.
I'm with you though - I always want more!!

Re: We Need a Tomorrowland Revamp.... Badly!
I've heard quite a bit of pushback against Space Ranger Spin on this thread. Just curious, why shouldn't Buzz Lightyear be in Tomorrowland/ It seems to me that the theming for this one is appropriate. The characters in this one are not from Toy Story (which takes place in the present) but the animated series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (which takes place in the future).
However, wholeheartedly agree that Stitch should go (in spite of loving the movie).

I also love the laugh floor! I'm surprised there are so many here that dislike it. I've always found it pretty funny. I mean, it's no Louis c.k. show, but you shouldn't be expecting that.

I agree with you Dina! I think Buzz fits in very well where he is. He goes with the whole futuristic space colony theme which is Tomorrowland (Space Mountain, Mickeys Startraders, Cosmic Rays etc.)

Re: We Need a Tomorrowland Revamp.... Badly!
The attraction I don't get is the Tomorrowland Speedway.
I know it's an attraction that splits opinion (ok, I like it but everyone else seems to dislike it) but I don't see how that fits in with the Tomorrowland theme.
What's an ageing race track with very old and uncontrollable (but annoyingly fun!) cars got to do with the future?

Oh, I think that when they built it, it was supposed to be very futuristic because kids got to go on a speedway and ride in really cool cars. Just a thought I had...
