I have vertigo and I can pretty much ride all the rides, minus the Tea Cups and the intense version of Mission Space. I say just take it at your own pace try what you can and if they feel like they are going to have a spell keep your head back and close your eyes, that usually works for me, also take it slow getting out of the rides if you need to.

I suffer from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo but it's never affected me at WDW.
The teacups and Mission Space have never appealed to me so that's not an issue but I can ride everything else.
Last year, we got early entry to ride Harry Potter at UIoA before park opening and rode it twice in quick succession followed by Dragon Challenge.
Bad move!!
I could feel the vertigo after the first HP and more after the second. I only did Dragon Challenge to go on with my other half who wanted to do it but within seconds of the ride starting I knew it was a mistake.
When we got off, I just felt terrible. I'm not sure how I kept my breakfast down and I was soaked in sweat and stumbling.
Luckily it wasn't a full-in attack as that puts me in bed for 24 hours (during which I can't move a muscle without being ill) but I couldn't do any more rides that day.
I was really scared that I'd just messed up the entire vacation but luckily I was ok the next day.
I also suffered with it on Wild Arctic At Sea World (sim ride) - I think because the screen was smaller than, say, Star Tours (which I'm fine on). The ride started and I felt terrible and wished it would break down. It did!!! I've never run from a ride so fast in my life!
Lesson learned though - one roller coaster at a time with long breaks between them ( I went back a few days later and did Rip, Ride, Rockitt fine) and no Wild Arctic!

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. We are planning a trip for September or October and have never had to deal with vertigo before. I was just wondering if I could still enjoy riding the rides with everyone else. I never was a big roller coaster fan, BTM is as one of my favs. I steered clear of RNRC and Mission Space before this so that's no problem. Your tips and sharing your experiences has been very helpful. Thank you all!

My right ear has been bad all my life from birth and I suffer with vertigo from the little bones behind ear drum being bad. Always been on rollercoasters and I love the waltz so I can't see vertigo really being a problem just like what other people have said don't stand up to quick if you feel dizzy and just take it slowly if you feel an attack coming along. And uttermost don't let it ruin your holiday
